Encouragement

Revelation 19:1 is a reminder that salvation, glory, and power belong to the Lord. This verse encapsulates the triumphant song that resounds throughout the heavens, declaring the ultimate victory of God. As a believer, it’s crucial to anchor yourself in this truth, especially in times of doubt or uncertainty.

Salvation, the very essence of your faith, is a gift from God. It’s not something you earn or achieve, but a precious treasure freely given to you by His grace. When you acknowledge this, you position yourself to walk confidently in the assurance of His love and favor. You can trust that your Heavenly Father is not only able but also eager to lead you into His eternal embrace.

Furthermore, glory and power are His to wield. The majesty and authority of the Lord are beyond measure, and they are fully at work in your life. In moments of weakness, when you feel inadequate or incapable, you can draw upon His limitless power that dwells within you. It empowers you to face challenges, overcome obstacles, and boldly step into the purposes He has set before you.

This verse serves as a resounding anthem, echoing through the ages, and reminding you of the awe-inspiring magnitude of your God. It beckons you to align your heart with the heavenly chorus, lifting your voices in praise and gratitude for the salvation, glory, and power that belong to the Lord.

Freedom From Oppression

On my probably fourth or fifth trip to West Africa, I was taken to a place called Kabala in the Northern part of Sierra Leone. There was a witchcraft stronghold in that place, and I saw the power of God break out in that place where 7,000 Muslims got saved. I was going through the crowd, praying for people, and I come to this little 10 year old boy and put my hand on his head and he absolutely flips out, starts growling at me, starts frothing at the mouth. The kid was demonized. And while praying for the kid, there’s a few things that I didn’t know that I found out later.

Anyway, the kid gets completely free from demons, gets born again, has a big smile on his face after he accepts Jesus. He gets up and runs off. The next day, his parents come find us and say, “Listen, you don’t understand. This kid’s been blind since he’s been born, and he can see now.” So Jesus today, sets people free from demonic oppression and the influence of demons in their lives.

So the same power and anointing that was in Kabala in Sierra Leone, I just release into your life right now. And to any stronghold, anything that has you instead of you having it, I just release that right now, that fire and that power of God to set you free from stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, any diagnosed or undiagnosed mental illness, anything that controls your life. I command it to fall to the ground and get under your feet. And I just release freedom, complete freedom. Righteousness, peace, and joy, which are the Kingdom into your life today, in Jesus’ name.

What does it mean to have a marriage that is set apart? It’s one that demonstrates, embodies, and leads others to the goodness of God. It honors the Lord, producing fruit that looks like Him.

Your marriage can embody the light of Jesus

There is a cultural myth that marriage is meant to be hard. While I don’t believe that marriage is always easy, I do know that God, in His goodness, created marriage because it wasn’t good for man to be alone. In marriage, we learn to lift one another, strengthening ourselves in an intertwining with God.

From this place, we experience the power of a surrendered union. God wants to move in your marriage to bring His love onto the earth!

God can transform anything

The enemy wants you to believe there is a limit to God’s ability to transform marriages. God restores all things. Where there are two humble hearts, there is room for God to move. If you are a young Christian couple, I want to encourage you: pray for your marriage! Put on the armor of God for your household daily. Speak life over your spouse and relationship. Pray with one another and learn to prioritize each other’s needs. You have the unique ability to set a foundation for the spiritual life of your relationship.

“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[b] her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28“

Christ’s Power In You

Do you stay aware of Christ’s power to move in your life? It can be easy to lose sight of God’s supernatural nature that resides inside of us. Through Holy Spirit, we have been empowered like Jesus to transform our world and bring heaven to earth. Regularly reading the works of Jesus in the new testament keeps fresh for us remembrance of who our Lord is. With a mind equipped with Jesus’s impact on history, your life will begin to look like His.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12)

Christ’s power still transforms

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

The miracles of the bible are not nice stories for us to tell. We are meant to build our life upon their testimony. We serve a wonder-working God who wants to partner with us to bring his love onto the earth.

Your transformation

Think back to your testimony. Whether you grew up in church, or you are the first believer in your family, the power of God met and transformed you. With this knowledge, you get to share it with those in your life. Take time to write the testimonies of your life down. You can keep these in a journal or even on a list in your phone. Christ’s power in you will propel you to impact every room you step foot in.

When you travel to your next destination, consider pulling your testimony list out. Write out all the ways that God has showed himself as faithful and true. Pray for more of Holy Spirit’s movement in your life and for increased awareness of Him.

  1. Purity is a priority. (Hebrews 12:14 & Matthew 5:8)

“No one can pursue purity for you,” he emphasized. “You must make it a priority in your life that you’re going to seek God until what you want to see on the outside is reflected on the inside.”

Your purity is your own responsibility, no one else can give it to you. To achieve purity, you must seek God until His identity of purity becomes your own identity.

  1. Purity is possible by God’s power. (1 Peter 1:15-17)

“This desire for heart purity is a creation of the Holy Spirit at work in the heart,” Dr. Billy quoted Duncan Campbell.

Purity is only possible with the help of God. It’s not by our works nor our deeds, it’s just about the grace of God.

“The proof of spiritual maturity is not how pure you are but awareness of your impurity. That very awareness opens the door to [God’s] grace,” he quoted Philip Yancey.

“Let your life be blazing with holiness,” Dr. Billy added. “So, purity is possible but it’s only possible through the work of God’s grace.”

  1. Purity requires power. (John 1:7-9, Psalms 119:9, Galatians 5:16)

“The truth is, we can’t be pure without God’s help, this drives us to seek God.”

Attaining purity starts from the transformation of our hearts and for our hearts to be transformed into His identity, we must seek His presence.

“Either sin will keep you from the Word or the Word will keep you from sin.” -John Bunyan

The power of the cross and blood of Jesus, the power of the Word of God, the power of the Holy Spirit.

What is limiting God’s power to move in healing? God is all-powerful and we all know that He is limitless, however, when it comes to his power moving through us, we are limiting His movement with our belief and expectancy.

Joaquin Evans, a senior leader of Bethel Austin, shares with us how God moved in healing through their ministry. He developed the Healing Room in Bethel Church in Redding, California. That was the moment when God made it clear to everyone who witnessed that event that He is limitless!

It was not their ministry that’s moving in healing, but it is God. All they had to do is acknowledge His presence in that room.

“All we have to do is worship Him, recognize who He is, invite Him to come and get out of the way.”

God’s Power

People were getting healed in the room as God moved. But it was not just inside the room where wonders were happening, a deaf man who was just passing by the door was suddenly healed! Joaquin then heard God saying to him that if He can move even outside that room, he can even move in the hallway and in the lobby! The following day, they witnessed many people encountering God even before they entered the room.

“Is it God’s desire to move that is constraining what He does or is it our belief and our expectancy for what He actually wants to do that’s constraining it?”

Holy Spirit

God’s power didn’t just stop in the lobby, it even swept through the parking lot! There were testimonies of people encountering the Holy Spirit as they parked their cars. There were also people getting healed even as they were still driving to the church.

“If God can do that, He can show up in the parking lot. If He could show up over skype, can He show up right now over Facebook? We know that the answer is that He can and He will and He’s about to right now because He loves people that much.”

God’s love for us makes Him limitless! There is no limit in God’s power and there is no limit in God’s love.

Saying “Yes”

Today, Troy is encouraging every Christian to say yes to God’s calling. He also shared how can we be a part of this transformational mission.

“There are people that are suffering within your general proximity that I will never see but you see. There are people who need help within your field of view that God has placed within you firmament, that they come across you.. we have to have a yes within our spirit.”

God’s Power

If we say yes to God’s power, we allow His power to flow through us. And that power can both change the lives of the people around us and also our own lives.

“It makes you somebody who becomes a conduit for God’s power. And then, there’s no place in your life that is hopeless anymore. There’s no place in your life anymore that is actually powerless where you can’t do anything because the power of the Holy Spirit is flowing through you.”

Always be ready to answer any evil with God’s goodness and power. With that, you could be a part of the worldwide mission of Jesus Christ to save the lost and enslaved.

“I’m constantly ready to answer evil with God’s goodness.”

She has written a book, Saving My Assassin, in which she shares how in the face of death she fought back with the word of God.

“I am not a hero, God gave me this mission and I was a tool in God’s hands,” Virginia told CBN News.

“The socialist government, it’s a government who will establish a system where the government is your God, not Christ,” Virginia said. Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceauscescu ruled in the 1980s, during his rule Christians were thrown in jail. Even though the country had religious freedom laws they were not followed in reality.

The Final Showdown and Victory

In her fight for the right to religious freedom things got worse to the point that the dictator sent an assassin to her office to kill her. “He decided to send a ‘client’ to my office, the assassin,” Virginia shared. “He said to me I’m not your client, I’m here to kill you, and he pointed the gun to me, and I thought ‘I’m going to die’.”

Virginia knew she had to do something, she did the thing she knew best. She shared the word of God with him. “I looked at the man, and I started to share the Gospel. He was just a human being like me searching for the truth like I used to look many years ago,” Virginia recalled. “As I shared the Gospel with him I noticed, I looked at the man who screamed a few seconds ago, melting under God’s power.”

God Is Greater

Years ago, when I felt overwhelmed by challenges confronting me on every side, the Lord led me to do an exercise in my journal. I made a list of each situation and numbered them. Then, in large capital letters, I wrote over each line: GOD IS GREATER. As I saw each problem covered by God, hope filled my entire being.

During this time, as the coronavirus sweeps around the world and in many of our local communities, we need to remember this—GOD IS GREATER.

In Genesis 26, during a widespread famine in Israel, Abraham’s son Isaac (the heir of God’s covenant) “…sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him” (v. 12, NKJV). Just before this, Isaac had made the same mistake his father Abraham had made years before—in fear for his life, he lied to the men asking about his wife, saying that she was his sister (v. 7). King Abimelech heard what happened and confronted Isaac, stating it was obvious he and Rebekah were married. Then the king commanded all the people to not touch either one of them, or they would be put to death (vv. 9–11). Immediately after this, Isaac sowed in that land…and ultimately became very prosperous (vv. 12–13). What incredible grace!

What’s My Point?

Isaac’s father Abraham had died and was gone (Genesis 25:7–8). He now had two sons, Esau and Jacob, who were in a rivalry for the firstborn blessing, and Esau had just despised his birth right (Genesis 25:19–34). Then a famine hit the land of Israel that was so severe, Isaac started a journey to relocate his family, where God promised to bless him if he would obey and stay in Gerar (Genesis 26:1–6).

Friend, in these troubled times, you may be facing challenges on every side, but there is hope for you! Perhaps you lost someone close to you or are facing conflicts that threaten to harm or divide your family. Like Isaac, you may have become fearful and done something you regret. And now, a worldwide pandemic is affecting many, maybe even you or someone you love. Know this: Nothing can prevent you from possessing God’s promised inheritance as you love and obey Him.

Take a Step Up in Faith

If you are overwhelmed, I encourage you to do what I did a long time ago that proved to be the first step of my deliverance. Take out a pen and paper (or your journal) and write a numbered list of every challenge you face. Then pray. Lift them to God, thanking Him for His love and faithfulness, prepared to obey as He guides you to victory. Finally, over each challenge, write in capital letters: GOD IS GREATER! Declare them out loud. Then trust the Lord and keep moving forward.

You and I are sons and daughters of God who can walk in the faith of Abraham, our spiritual father, as heirs of an incredible New Covenant (Romans 4:16). Salvation, healing, deliverance, guidance, wisdom, revelation, provision, protection, unlimited power, and everything we need are ours in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Trust in God. Run into His mighty presence and come under the perfect protection of His shadow (Psalm 91). Focus your heart on Him and walk in the amazing grace and peace only He can provide (Philippians 4:7). GOD IS GREATER! He can prosper you in the darkest of times, because in Him, “…the night shines as the day” (Psalm 139:12). Darkness and light are both alike to our heavenly father. So, run to Him! And, as you move forward, look back at your list every now and then. Be reminded that GOD IS GREATER and declare His promises. Rain or shine, in darkness or light, He keeps leading you into a new day.

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil]” Proverbs 18:10 (AMP)

God’s Healing Power Resurrects A New Mom

The Bible is full of miraculous displays of God’s power! His power is what created light with the words that He spoke. It was the power of God that caused a bush to burn without being consumed.  The Red Sea was touched by God’s power and miraculously made a way for God’s people.

In Exodus 14:13-14 Moses instructs the people to trust in God’s power  to be displayed, “Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

God is still performing miracles today! Ruby Graupera-Cassirmiro knows this first hand.  She experienced God’s power touching her life when she died giving birth.  While undergoing a c-section, amniotic fluid from the placenta leaked into Ruby’s bloodstream. Ruby became unconscious and the doctors worked to revive her.  After three hours of trying everything the doctors invited the family into say good-bye.  What was suppose to be a joyous day had turned into a day of mourning.

But God!

Suddenly, after 45 minutes without a pulse, God’s power touched Ruby’s body and her heart began to beat on its own.  Ruby said that while she was dead she felt as if she was floating down a tunnel. She also saw other spiritual beings who were surrounded in light.  The new mother had been completely healed by God’s power and got to meet her baby girl!

The power of God is still at work in the world today!  He is still healing the sick and raising the dead!  Just ask Ruby Graupera-Cassirmiro and her little girl…
