Among the many titles that God, our Father has is that He is the Creator, the Potter, and the Artist. He builds, shapes and creates. If He does all of that then who are we?
We are God’s handiwork
Ephesians 2: 10 states that “we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
This scripture is just so amazing! Being referred to as God’s handiwork, workmanship or creation is unbelievable. The God of ALL creation refers to us human beings as His own work, the work of His hands. This makes me believe that we are actually better than what we even think of ourselves.
Through Christ’s eyes
I believe God always creates the best and doesn’t make incomplete objects. May this revelation ease our hearts from all the pressure, guilt and condemnation that we always put upon our lives.
The Creator of the Heavens and the Earth is the best Creator – He’s the best in what He does.
If He has made it then it has to be good, therefore we should not look down on ourselves, but look through the eyes of Christ who died for us. God does not see failure but success and victory. Each stripe and punch Jesus received He took on our behalf as Isaiah 53 says:
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”
Perfected in Him
Today, I would like to encourage all of us to look at ourselves the way God looks at us. Let’s close our eyes from all negativity and begin to view ourselves as God’s masterpieces – flawless.
Yes, you may not be perfect in your own eyes but look to Christ who is our righteousness, who suffered so that we may be perfected in Him.
Let us continue to be the light and salt wherever we go. May we be the reflection and an expression of Christ’s love on the Earth today. The world is looking up to us to bring solutions and display what our good Heavenly Father has deposited inside all of us.
