In her post, Jada wrote, “The same way a godly relationship is worth the wait, so is a godly friendship. Keep praying for godly friends. You can be kind to everyone, but you don’t have to do life with everyone. Choose your friends wisely.”
She also noted in her caption that godly friendships are as crucial as godly marriage. Because it’s also a relationship that involves “a selfless love that is after building one another up at ALL times.”
“A godly friendship doesn’t fail or leave you behind because we live with the love of Christ,” she explained. “Therefore, we’re not friends for what I can get from you but how I can serve you and encourage you in your faith as we build one another up in faith.”
Godly Friendships Are Worth The Wait
Jada remarked that one should pray for the right godly friends because who you surround yourself with is very important. And just like a godly marriage, godly friendships are also “worth the wait.”
As Proverbs 18:24 says, “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.“
