Faith To Execute: Birthing Your God-Given Vision
So God has given you a great vision.
A vision so large, so great and amazing that you’re wondering…
- How will this vision ever come to pass?
- Where do I start?
- Who do I partner with?
- How will I pay for this?
- Where will the resources come from?
Questions may flood your mind. Doubt may have set in. Stagnation may have stalled your purpose and future plans. Worry and fear may have attempted to cripple your action steps to progress and move forward. Fear not.
If God gave you the vision, He will bring it to pass.
Here are a few steps that can help guide you along the way to birthing the vision:
1. Understand Timing
To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
To everything, there is a season. This moment has purpose. Don’t rush the process. You’re being matured, processed and pruned. As God matures your heart and leads your actions, every experience in your process will produce fruit that will help you keep, handle and maintain your promise. Your process was designed to mature you not destroy you. This season is for your good; not for your destruction.
Pray: Lord, help me to understand my season. Lead me and guide my hands according to Your Will.
2. Wise Counsel
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors, there is safety. (Proverbs 11:14)
Surround yourself Godly and wise counsel. Good Character sustains empires. As God gives you wisdom on how to execute His Vision, it’s up to you to develop your character. As you go through various seasons of the process, you may experience “birthing pains”. The temporary distress you’re facing at the moment does not necessarily mean for you to stop pushing. Your pain may be an indication of your stretching. As God births His “New thing” through you, you will have to shed the old way of doing things in order to birth out something new. Surround yourself with Godly Counsel that will help you birth out and preserve the New.
3. Seek God’s Blueprint
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6)
God gave you the vision and He will lead you through His Process. As you acquire God Given information, revelation and insight about the Vision, He’ll mature you on how to release the vision and who to speak to in His timing. You’ll find favor as you go and obey. God will give you the Words to say as you go. As you surround yourself with wise counsel and allow the Holy Spirit to lead your actions you’ll flourish as you work and obey the commands that He’s given you. Execute in His timing.
4. Perversion produces destruction
For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: (Proverbs 6:26)
Perversion can and will cause you to forfeit your Destiny and lose your Birthright. Many times, most times, the enemy wants to stop you in your tracks, even before your Destiny takes begins. A whorish woman (or man) can derail your increase and delay your promotion. Your God Given business was not given to you by God Himself in order to fulfill your lusts, but this vision, His Vision, was given to you in order to advance and promote His Kingdom. The enemy, Satan, comes to steal, kill and destroy your Destiny, hope, dreams, vision, peace and harvest (John 10:10). The enemy wishes to rob you every chance he gets. Through perversion, the enemy twists the plans that God has for you and lures you to default on your God Given promise.
5. Put God First…Not things
But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. (Deuteronomy 8:18)
Pride sets you up for failure. When you exalt yourself as God and forget that it was He who gave you the insight, power, knowledge ability and authority to get wealth and create that business, He will have no other god(s) competing with him. Maybe you’ve asked God for an increase, and you have not received it because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts (James 4:3). Maybe you’re idolizing the vision and the manifestation of its fulfillment above God. If you’ve incorrectly prioritized your allegiance and shifted your worship to exalt the vision and/or business over God simply renounce your sin, repent and turn your heart back to God.
