God used a customer in a restaurant to minister to his lost daughter, who was working at the time. The customer shared his encounter and God’s love.
God Speaks Through People
Christopher Randall wants to be a vessel for God. So, each day, he makes himself available for God’s purposes.
One morning, as he was eating his breakfast in a restaurant, he asked the waitress if he can pray for her. The waitress paused for a minute and said yes.
“I need peace. Pray for that,” she said.
Apparently, the waitress had been in an out of prison for three years. And she had been struggling to change her life.
At that moment, she was currently on parole and under court-ordered supervision. The waitress confessed that the parole might be the only thing keeping her from relapsing. But now that it was about to end, she feared she might go back to her ways and find herself in prison again.
Lost Daughter
Christopher knew what the waitress needed, and he immediately presented the solution to her.
He shared his story about how he was a terrible person before knowing Jesus. He could not change himself no matter how hard he tried.
Christopher continued, “But when I gave my life to Jesus, the Holy Spirit radically changed me and has kept me from ever going back to the way that I used to be.”
It turned out that the waitress had also accepted Jesus in her life when she was inside the prison. But after her release, there was no one helping her or guiding her to continue her relationship with Him. And so, she was losing her way again.
That’s when Christopher realized why God put it on his heart to talk to the waitress. She was actually a lost daughter who God was pursuing.
So, Christopher shared what it looks like to live in a relationship with Jesus and how it help them from going back to the person that they used to be.
“Through that conversation, the Holy Spirit changed the course of that woman’s life going forward,” he shared.
