A woman suffered from a terminal illness and felt hopeless until God spoke to her; she had to forgive to be totally healed.
Growing Up Abused
Margaret Green grew up in a rough environment. Her father was abusive, that her mom eventually ran away with her two younger siblings. And now, she was forced to suffer violence from her father. On top of that, a friend of her dad molested her. As a result, even as early as eight years old, she became suicidal.
Later, Margaret lived with her mom, who brought her to church. Soon, she accepted Jesus in her heart as a teen. But she had questions about her life’s mishaps that she felt like God didn’t hear her. So, the teen eventually rebelled.
Alcohol, Drugs, Party
Margaret turned to alcohol and drugs to fill the void in her heart. And after several years, she bore three children and lived her life stealing, selling drugs, and stripping to get by. She also got involved in numerous abusive relationships.
But with all the rebellion and bad things happening in her life, Margaret never stopped praying.
“It was almost like checking to see, maybe one day He’ll hear me and come and save me from this,” she recalled.
Then one day, Margaret reached her breaking point after two men she had just met violently raped her. The suspects planned to kill, so she called out Jesus’ name. Soon, they left Margaret on the streets helpless.
Terminal Illness
Following that painful experience, Margaret decided to seek God again the following day. She gave up her life of parties and drugs and started taking her relationship with Christ seriously. And years later, Margaret met the love of her life and got married to Jermaine.
But two years later, the couple met an unexpected hurdle that tested their faith in God. Margaret was diagnosed with two life-threatening conditions. She felt hopeless until God spoke to her with a powerful instruction to be healed from her terminal illness.
