A woman received financial breakthrough when God paid all her debts and bills. She almost couldn’t believe it!
Belinda Struggles to Meet Financial Needs
Not everyone is comfortable asking for help, and that included Belinda. She didn’t want anyone to see her as weak and needy, and thought people could use it against her. That’s why when she was struggling financially, she didn’t tell anyone. Not even her family.
As the “only black person” in her previous workplace, Belinda had difficulty with her work life. She experienced bullying and racism firsthand. But even though she was having a hard time, she didn’t quit because it was paying the bills.
Then God impressed upon her to resign.
“If this is You leading me out of here, I trust You. I will go,” she prayed.

Out of obedience, Belinda quit her job and started looking for job opportunities. But COVID happened. Lockdown was imposed. The world, it seemed, stopped. And Belinda couldn’t find a new job that would sustain her needs.
When her savings were almost spent, she was tempted to go back to her parent’s house so she could start anew and get on her feet.
But she remembered God telling her, “Stay where you are. If you’re going back, you’re going to miss your breakthrough.”
Belinda Stayed Faithful Despite Financial Challenges
Belinda received her financial breakthrough when she held on to God’s Word and was kept praying and seeking God’s face. She stayed faithful in giving her tithes and offering to the church even though she, too, was struggling financially.
She waited on God to answer, fasted and prayed, and faithfully went to the church. Then finally, when she least expected it, God showed up miraculously.
God Used the Church to Pay All Her Bills and Debts

One Sunday morning, the church was asking for prayer requests from the congregation so they could pray for them. Belinda, being afraid to be seen as vulnerable and weak, reluctantly wrote her prayer requests and pleas.
She wasn’t expecting anything from that. Sometimes, she even believed that she was praying to God but not believing that something life-changing could happen.
“But God is still a miracle-working God,” she said.
Weeks later, Belinda went to their church’s Sunday service. At the later part of the service, her name was called by the pastor and she thought, “He knows my name? Is there any Belinda here?”
She was called up front and the pastor announced that all her debts would be paid! Her rent, her car bill, and groceries.
Not only that, Belinda was introduced to someone who could give her a job.
Praise God!
While sharing her testimony, Belinda couldn’t help her tears from falling. She concluded, “It is true that God can change your life around in a moment, or in an instant.”
