You Are Never Alone

You may feel alone at times, but the truth is that you are never alone! A key to unwrapping this truth is to read the word of God. You will find over and over again that God is with His children. Once you discover that God will never leave you, you will be filled with gratitude. Gratitude changes our perspective! It is a key to remembering who God is!

In a message on gratitude, Pastor Allen said, “Gratitude completely changes your ability to receive from God. On the other hand, a lack of gratitude, being unthankful, unappreciative, being filled with that kind of ingratitude, hardens your heart.” We need to keep our hearts soft so that we remember the truth about who God is. He is always with us.

You Are Never Alone. Truths From Psalm 139.

God has written a book about all of your days, because He loves you and has a purpose for your life.

“Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them” (Psalm 139:16).

There are times in life when we feel like we’re between a rock and a hard place. It can feel dark and lonely with no way out. Reading these verses out loud will remind your soul that you are never alone.

“Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,even there your hand shall lead me” (Psalm 139:7-10).

Application

The people of Israel were complaining about being in the wilderness. “They said to Moses, ‘Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt?'” (Exodus 14:11). They forgot what God had done for them. They were led out of Egypt by a miracle of God, but the cares of life hardened their hearts.

Remember what God has done in your life. Take a moment to write down every prayer that He has answered. You are probably living in an answered prayer right now. Thank Him for that! Thank Him for what He will do, too! He is not finished with you!

Above all, thank Him for His presence. He IS all around you! Thank Him for the air in your lungs, and before you know it, you will be thanking Him for so many things! When you live in a posture of gratitude, you begin to see the truth that you are never alone!

Prayer

Jesus, thank you that I am never alone! You go before me to prepare the way. Your presence surrounds me and gives me strength! I know that your ways are higher than my ways. I declare that you are with me! Amen.

Here are some practical ways to strengthen your faith and trust in God’s protective presence:

Trust in God’s divine protection: Place your trust in God’s ability to safeguard you from harm. Know that no weapon formed against you will prevail when you stand under His covering. Release your fears and worries to Him, knowing that He is faithful to keep you safe from any attacks or harm that may come your way.

Stand firm in God’s promises: Hold fast to the promises of God’s Word. Anchor your faith in His faithfulness and the assurances He has given you. Declare His promises over your life, believing that His words carry power and authority. Stand firm in His truth, knowing that no attack or scheme can prevail against His divine protection.

Walk in confidence and boldness: With the assurance of God’s presence and protection, step out in confidence and boldness. Do not allow fear or intimidation to hold you back from fulfilling God’s purposes for your life. Trust that He will shield you from harm and empower you to navigate any opposition that may arise.

Remember, that as you trust in God’s protective presence, He will keep you safe and guide you through every circumstance. Walk in the assurance of His promises and rest in His unfailing love.

God Is In the Desperate Moments With You

Hi, my name is Traci Vanderbush and I want to bring you an encouraging word today. No matter where you are, if you’re suffering under the weight of darkness, if you feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world and you just can’t go another step, know that you are not alone, and God is with you. He is with you in that darkness.

There’s a verse that says, “And the light will shine out of the darkness. “And He is faithful to do that. Several years ago, I went through a really bad season of life and I found myself so desperate for a word from God. I grabbed my Bible and I just held it to my chest, and I went running and just running. I don’t even know where I was running to, but I was desperate. And it was in the morning just before the sun was rising, and I found myself faced to the asphalt. Just face down, saying, “God, I’ve got to hear from you.” I opened my Bible somewhere in the book of Psalms. And I saw what said this, “When the sun rises it’s to remind you of my love for you. And as faithful as the sun is to rise, I am faithful to shine in your darkness.”

Well, that’s what I read in the Bible, but when I went back to look for it, it wasn’t there because apparently the Lord wrote it right then for me to see. That’s what my eyes saw. And so He will meet you in the darkness and He will encourage you. And He is faithful to show up and there is always hope. So whatever situation you’re facing right now does not define your future, and it doesn’t dictate what God can or cannot do. He loves you so much and He is holding you right now. And I promise He will show up. He’s there now. So may you feel His love and see that grace of God, and just know His healing power to redeem you from the moment you’re in right now, in Jesus’ name.

Are You Giving Yourself Grace?

Are you giving yourself enough grace? Sometimes it can be so easy to see the things that we fail in, it can be so easy to see the shortcomings in our life. And I felt the Lord speak to me today to remind you to give yourself more grace. It’s a hard thing to do, and it’s an even harder thing to master, but I want to encourage you that if you’re struggling to give yourself grace, begin your day by asking the Lord, “What am I doing really well in my life right now?”

And then when He answers you, I want you to write it down, and I want you to remind yourself and then ask Him this question: “Where could I use more of you in my life?” God is so faithful. He loves to speak to His children and He is consistently with us at every moment of our day. He knows every good thing that we do, He knows every shortcoming that we have. He knows every moment where we feel emotions that we don’t know how to even handle. I want to just encourage you that God is with you today in your day. And even if you aren’t extending yourself grace, He’s extending grace to you.

Jesus, I just thank you that today is a good day to have a good day. That today is a great day to function out of the rest and the grace that you so vehemently fought for on the cross, so that we could live a whole life filled with your presence. Jesus, I thank you that you are going to be more tangible to us today than you ever have been. And we pray that today your Kingdom would come and your will would be done. Amen.

Relationship With God Is An Adventure!

Have you ever heard someone refer to their secret place with The Lord? Intimacy with The Lord is a vital part of relationship with God! But, so many people today struggle with believing that their relationship with God has to look a certain way!

Perfectionism

For years, I lived my life with a religious lens. It prevented me from truly encountering God throughout the day. A day would go by, and I would be so hard on myself if I didn’t have time to read my Bible. I would overcompensate and strive for perfection when it came to spending time with God. Did you know that God isn’t looking for perfection? Romans 5:8 says, “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” He didn’t die for us because we were perfect, but because we were imperfect!

Relationship

It took me a few months to realize that this mindset was taking a toll on me. Not only on my soul but my body and mind as well. Spending time with God certainly doesn’t have to look a certain way. In fact, as God’s sons and daughters, you have full permission to make your relationship with God completely your own. Your secret place with The Lord can look many different ways! It can look like a walk on the beach, a hot shower in the morning, or even your commute to work. Despite having lots to do, God isn’t bound by our lives and can encounter us anywhere!

God Is With You Wherever You Go!

Busy schedules can be busy, but that doesn’t mean God doesn’t go with you wherever you go like it says in Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Be bold today and talk to God in ways you haven’t. Take Him places you’ve never invited Him into before! I promise, He’s already there and He wants to make His presence known to you!
