God is not mad at you
In his message on November 5, the Word of Life Church executive pastor Nathan talked about God’s wrath and love. He reminded the Church that God is a loving God.
“God loves you and he is for you and the Bible just tells us to Humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will lift us up. God’s not mad at you today. He’s not looking to punish you today, He’s not looking to pour His judgment and His wrath upon you. Why? Because He put that on His Son.”

The judgment of our sins has already been carried by Jesus Christ. That’s how loving God is, that He gave His only begotten Son for the atonement of our sins. We should not take God’s love for granted, God has a plan and purpose for every life.
“He’s looking as a loving loving Father to wrap you up in His loving arms and to see your plan, your purpose, your destiny fulfilled in your life.”
Nathan ended his sermon by quoting a verse in Psalms 27. In that verse, God promises us that we will see His goodness over our lives and that we will flourish, we just have to wait unto the Lord.
“The Bible says that ‘I will see the goodness of God God I will see it flourish in my life in the land of the living.’ I will see the goodness of God unfold in my life.”
