God is Good

Miracles in the Parking Lot

One of the most striking aspect has been witnessing miracles unfold even before prayers are offered or declarations are made. There is a testimony of a woman who, burdened with severe rheumatoid arthritis, drove over an hour and a half to the church. As she stepped out of her car in the parking lot, she encountered the healing power of God so profoundly that by the time she reached the prayer team, she declared she was already healed in the parking lot, she no longer needed prayer for God had already moved.

Similarly, a gentleman arrived at the church recently plagued by severe knee pain. Upon entering the parking lot, he too experienced God’s healing touch, alleviating his pain entirely. These parking lot miracles serve as vivid reminders that God’s presence knows no bounds, often moving powerfully in spaces and moments we least expect.

Divine Drawings

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” – James 4:8

The community has also witnessed how the presence of God acts as a divine magnet, drawing people towards Him, sometimes even without their initial realization of what they are being drawn to. A family, unaware of the church’s existence in the area, felt an inexplicable pull towards the location of the church. After participating in worship and hearing the message, they sought prayer, encountering God’s presence in a way that deeply touched their hearts and lives.

This magnetic draw of God’s presence is a testament to the fact that when we intentionally cultivate spaces where His Spirit is welcome, we create environments ripe for divine encounters. These encounters are not limited to physical healings but extend to emotional and relational restorations as well.

Restoration

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3

A particularly moving testament to the power of God’s presence involves a couple on the brink of divorce. Without a single prayer uttered on their behalf, they stepped into the Bethel Austin building and, through worship, experienced a softening of hearts and repentance as they were touched by God. In that moment, their marriage was miraculously restored. This story beautifully illustrates how God can change the trajectory of our lives, mending what seems irrevocably broken, when we simply make room for His presence.
