You are called to grace! Grace is the gift of Jesus, empowering you to live a life fully for Him! He came and He fulfilled the law and the prophets, making you complete by His blood. This is good news!

In a sermon about how Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets, Joseph said, “The law has served its purpose; to bring men to the end of himself. The prophet has brought man to God. He served his purpose. It’s the day of grace.” Joseph Prince is an excellent teacher of the Word. He explains why it is important to recognize and believe that Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets, so that we can walk in grace as true sons and daughters.
No Longer A Sinner
Did you know that children of God are no longer prone to sin? The law made people aware of sin, and Jesus came and died so that through Him, you could be a new creation and live by the Spirit. You are called to grace!
“No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God” (1 John 3:9).
Some people live by the flesh, and others live by the Spirit. If someone chooses life by the flesh, they will die. But the person who lives life by the Spirit, will live a life of peace.
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace” (Romans 8:5-6).
Application
The blood of Jesus washes us white as snow! Sometimes we can forget that we have been given the gift of righteousness. Walking in grace is a gift that can be a challenge to open if we are used to living in condemnation. But, the Bible clearly says that there is no longer condemnation for those who are in Christ! We just have to recognize the grace Jesus has made available to us.
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:1-2).
Some Christians put a hard yoke on people. They set people up to fail, because works were never meant to be our identity. We naturally do good works out of obedience to Jesus, because we love Him! We don’t work to get love, we work because we are loved and because we love God!

Don’t live a backwards Christian life by working for love. Jesus said to abide in Him so that we will bear much fruit.
He says in John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” Apart from Him, we can do nothing. He has given us the grace to abide in Him. And if you think about life in Him, that is a beautiful life of fellowship, where you love Him and you know He loves you! He is so good!
Prayer
Jesus, thank you for making a way for me to live in grace. I commit my whole heart to you and I say yes to your ways! You have washed me clean and I thank you that I am a new creation and a child of God. Amen!
