Trisha Fenimore profoundly explained the reason she stopped asking ‘Why?’ to God. She discovered a revelation after she read a Bible passage that deeply resonated with her life.
Trisha Fenimore
A former atheist who is now a follower of Jesus, Trisha Fenimore, talked about her realizations after God delivered her from alcohol addiction. For the longest time after God set her free, she found herself asking, ‘Why?’. She wanted to understand why she had the addiction and became an alcoholic. She wondered if it was genetic or because of some event that happened to her. Out of curiosity, she tried to search for answers, but one day, she read a scripture in the Bible that changed her perspective.
She mentioned the story of a blind man, and the disciples came up to Jesus and asked the reason why he was born blind.
In John 9:2, it was written, “His disciples asked him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?'” After that, Jesus answered in verse 3, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.”

She Stopped Asking ‘Why?’
Eventually, with teary eyes, she explained that it was all because God wanted to manifest His glory through the man’s healing. Furthermore, she realized, “So often, our struggles are given to us so with the promise of healing inherent in them. Because that is how God reveals Himself and shows himself in the world.” cShe highlighted that the story changed her life forever. Since then, she never asked why.
Moreover, she emphasized God’s answer to her questions. She believed God allowed the negative things to happen in her life so that the glory of God might be made manifest in this world. What she deeply desired was to honor and glorify God in the end.
