Keenan Clark asks the question: Why did Satan tempt Eve and not Adam?
Adam & Eve
In a video uploaded on his Instagram account, pastor Keenan Clark tried to answer an interesting question about Adam and Eve. As is written in Genesis, Satan tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. He first approached the woman though Adam is also there in the garden. But why did Satan strategically tempt Even and not Adam?
Keenan shared:
“He’s got Adam and Eve at his disposal but he picks Eve. I was puzzled but this for a long time until I realized this: It’s not until after the fall, after they have taken the forbidden fruit that Eve is given the name Eve. All up until this point, she is only referred to as the ‘woman.’ Adam is called Adam but Eve is only the ‘woman.'”

Identity
Satan hasn’t changed his schemes.
“Notice what Satan did, he strategically went after the one who did not have an identity. This is still what Satan is doing today. He is going after people who are not rooted in their identity in Christ.”
The most vulnerable ones are those who don’t have their identity rooted in Christ and those who aren’t sure about their purpose in life.
“It matters who you believe you are because if you don’t know who you are, you will believe everything the enemy tells you”
