The legendary coach will turn 91 on November 8 but despite his old age, he overcame COVID-19. In addition to prayers, he was also blessed to receive the proper treatment.
“I had the opportunity to be treated for Covid-19 with drugs to include Remdesivir. At the age of 91, in many other countries, I might not have been treated,” he said.
Christian faith
In his statement, he emphasized that his priorities in life are his relationship with God and his family. The former Florida State head coach also shared about the importance of sharing the Christian faith with his children.
