Pete Barolo and Jessica Curritana Barolo are faithful missionaries. God led them to share the gospel to the Mangyan Tribe in Mindoro, Philippines. Ever since they started their ministry, the main problem was the insufficient supply of food for the Mangyan Tribe. Their ministry grew, but their problem concerning lack of food grew bigger as well.
As missionaries, they are obligated to serve food to those who badly need it. Pete prayed to God for a rice field. God never failed them, He provided a field for them. Every time Pete visits the field, He kneels in the middle and declares these powerful words, “Lord this is your field, may your name be great in this field, that the people around here will see that there is a God working in your servant.”
A most unforgettable event happened, while the rice on their field was ripening, an unexpected heavy rain with a strong wind passed through their area. He began to worry for their rice field, but God spoke to him, “Don’t worry, I am the real owner of that field”.
When He visited the field, a miracle happened, about 80% of the other rice fields were totally flattened and devastated. When they looked at their field, only about 5% of the field was affected and the rest of the rice was still firmly standing – as if nothing really happened. God spared and protected the field for the sake of His people.
God indeed is the owner of that field. He really showed His awesome power to the people. He is a living God and He answers the prayers of His people. He performs miracles and He provides what His people need. If God was able to perform this miracle for these missionaries, He will also do it in your life. You just have to believe and have faith.
