Donald Trump’s ex-senior advisor and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, shared how he trusted God amidst his battle with thyroid cancer during his stay in the white house.

In his upcoming book, “Breaking History: A White House Memoir,” Jared revealed his battle with thyroid cancer. The book is set to be released on August 9.
“On the morning that I traveled to Texas to attend the opening of a Louis Vuitton factory, White House physician Sean Conley pulled me into the medical cabin on Air Force One,” Jared wrote in his book. “‘Your test results came back from Walter Reed,’ he said. ‘It looks like you have cancer. We need to schedule surgery right away.'”
He tried to keep the diagnosis from the former president Donald Trump. Thankfully, the cancer was detected during its early stage. However, a part of his thyroid needed to be removed and could cause long-term damage to his voice.
“With the exception of Ivanka, Avi, Cassidy, and Mulvaney, I didn’t tell anyone at the White House — including the president,” he wrote.

What kept him going despite the diagnosis is knowing that his situation was in God’s hands.
“When I did think about it, I reminded myself that it was in the hands of God and the doctors and that whatever happened was out of my control,” he said. “At moments, I caught myself wondering whether I would need extensive treatment.”
Right before his surgery, the former president told him that he knew about his cancer and assured him that he’ll get through this hurdle.
“I’m the President. I know everything, I understand that you want to keep these things quiet. I like to keep things like this to myself as well,” Kushner recalls Trump saying. “You’ll be just fine. Don’t worry about anything with work. We have everything covered here.”
Today, Jared and Ivanka relocated to Miami, Florida to live a peaceful and healthy life.
