In the timeless words of Psalm 103, you can find solace and assurance in the promise of God’s healing for all your diseases and His divine healing on your life.

What Does the Bible Say?

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases.”” Psalm 103:2-3

These words resonate with believers across generations, offering comfort and assurance in God’s ability to bring healing and restoration.

When examining the historical context of Psalm 103, we are reminded of David’s own experiences with God’s healing power. As a shepherd boy, David faced the formidable giant Goliath and emerged victorious through God’s strength. Later in life, as king, David encountered various physical and spiritual afflictions, yet he continually sought refuge in the Lord, who faithfully delivered him.

Isaiah 53:5 provides further insight into the significance of divine healing: “But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds, we are healed.” This prophetic passage points to the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, whose sacrificial death on the cross secured healing for your body and soul.

James 5:14-15 exhorts believers to seek prayer and anointing for healing: “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” This scripture underscores the importance of faith and community in the pursuit of divine healing.

Psalm 103 is a reminder of God’s unwavering love and compassion, which extend to every aspect of your life, including your physical health. Supported by additional scriptures and historical context, you are encouraged to trust in God’s promise of healing and to seek His intervention with faith and expectancy.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the assurance of healing found in Your Word. Strengthen my faith, O Lord, that I may trust in Your power to bring restoration and wholeness to my body and soul. May Your healing touch be upon me, according to Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

“Do You Want To Be Made Well?”

When Jesus sought out and graciously and lovingly healed the paralyzed man lying by the Pool of Bethesda, He said these words to him – “Do you want to be made well?” What an odd thing to ask a man who hasn’t been able to move for 38 years. You would then think that paralyzed man would have screamed out YESSSSSSSS! But no. He first did some complaining about how no one had helped him.

THE STORY OF THE CRIPPLED MAN

“After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”

Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked…Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.” (John 5:1-9,15)

Back to the beginning – the paralyzed man – by actual definition paralyzed means: “to render powerless, ineffective, or unable to move.” So, in his case he was physically unable to move. Another word for paralyzed is crippled, disabled, immobilized, incapacitated and prostrated. I wonder how many of us today are paralyzed – maybe not externally, but for sure internally. Perhaps we could even refer to it as mental illness. Maybe depression. Maybe anxiety. We feel helplessly locked in its confines.

When Jesus asked him if he wanted to be well, all he could see was the failures of others towards him. This is a normal response and is referred to as a victim’s mentality. “Victim mentality is an acquired personality trait in which a person tends to recognize or consider themselves a victim of the negative actions of others, and to behave as if this were the case in the face of contrary evidence of such circumstances.” (Merriam Webster Dictionary) And yes, he was a victim of his circumstances as well as the seeming neglect from others, but what happened NEXT was UP TO HIM. (wow)

TAKE UP THY BED AND WALK

Jesus then asked him to RISE up/take up his bed and walk. Seemed pretty simple, and it was. He did it. I wish the Bible went further to tell us how he felt – I can only imagine. Did he run through the fields, roll down a mossy hill, and stay awake for days just so not to miss anything? Did he feel like the guy on the movie Titanic, at the helm of the boat, when he exclaimed, “I’M THE KING OF THE WORLD”. I am guessing, yes.

God has healed me from my abuse (not my fault) like He healed the paralyzed man of his disease (not his fault). He walked on – I am walking on. (Abuse had emotionally crippled me, so I feel a kinship to this man. Like, I understand how he must have felt.) So WHY after healing him, did Jesus say GO AND SIN NO MORE? And then tag on lest WORSE could come upon him (worse than being paralyzed?) This confuses me, but feels like it holds a powerful message of freedom for the rest of my journey.

Perhaps, up to now (for him/for me) what had crippled us both was NOT our fault but perhaps our future choices (if birthed in sin) WOULD then become our fault and reap havoc on our lives. It seems that the healing creates a new and improved version of us that we NOW need to deny. “Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.” (Matthew 16:24) The healing is being sanctified/the purifying and being set free, and now we must REMAIN that way. Why it is worse is – if we then CHOOSE to UNDO what Jesus JUST DID.

THE JOURNEY OF HEALING

You can be healed. Yes. 100% fully healed. And still FALL afterwards while enjoying your new freedom. Freedom can come with the pleasures of sin now being made available to you. (whoa) That man couldn’t move for 38 years – ALL the voices calling to him after that, when he could finally move and walk, must have been loud and overwhelming. Come here! Try this! I know you never….! What about THIS! What about THAT!

If you put yourself in his shoes that he NOW needed to wear, the temptations must have been staggering. (They have been for me). It doesn’t say if he fell prey to any or all – all it says is, “The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.” Nothing could be as great as his ability to function and move. No temptation was worth risking a far greater curse to fall upon him. I mean, right? Wouldn’t you think so if it were YOU?

Hopefully his healing was more than enough, and nothing else could take the place of the Jesus who made him well. I hope for him, and for me and for any of us in the same boat, that the gratefulness of being made whole would outweigh the injustice that broke us.

FREE TO WRITE A NEW ENDING

When we are finally free, it comes with a different price – the price of OUR choice of what is next. What if THAT is why I am fighting and struggling and battling and flailing SO hard, so I can get it right to help someone else? Is it worth my sacrifice? Is it worth my pride? Is it worth the price? It is. I don’t want to be so close, and miss it by an inch. Or a quarter of an inch. I don’t want to miss it. It really boils down to an “all or nothing” moment and THAT IS THE BATTLE.

Perhaps THIS is the crossroads of blessings OR curses to be passed on to the next generation. THIS is the swell/the crest of the meaning of WRITE YOUR OWN ENDING.

Remarkable Miracles That Are Available For You Too

From Genesis to Revelation, the Word of God testifies to the miracles of God. These miracles are available today, in fact, Jesus called us to do “greater works” (John 14:12). But how do you access the “greater works” that Jesus said we would do? How do we obey Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”? The keyword here is you!

Everything starts with you receiving. And receiving starts with allowing His miracle working power to work in your own life as you step into His promises. This principle is revealed in 1 John 4:19, “We love because He first loved us.” In other words, You can’t give what you don’t have. Matthew 10:7-8 says it another way, “Freely you have received; freely give.” If you have not received, how can you give?

Receiving Your Miracle

It’s time to start receiving the promises that Jesus paid for on the cross. It’s not enough to know about what you’ve been given. You must step into the reality and experience of the promise in order to full receive. For example, if you receive the gift of a new car for your birthday, but never drive the car, you have access to the gift, but have not fully received it. Miracles work the same exact way.

Two promises that provide practical keys for accessing miracles are found in Revelation 12:11 and Revelation 19:10. Revelation 12:11 promises, “They overcame him [satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” Likewise, Revelation 19:10 has the promise that “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (strength, comfort, and encouragement).” Both of these promises are connected to testimonies and a testimony is simply sharing what God has done or is doing in your life. In other words, one major key for receiving your miracle is to hear what God has done before!

Access God’s Miracle Working Power

What’s also amazing is that testimonies don’t have an expiration date. Any testimony you read in the Word of God is also available today. While it is impossible to list every testimony found in the Bible here are a few that can release God’s miracle working power for needs you might be facing.

Provision (Luke 5:1-11) – Jesus instructs the disciples to throw their nets on the other side of the boat and they receive a great catch after a long night without any catch
Physical Healing (Mark 1:40-45) – Jesus heals the leper
Financial Miracle (Matthew 17:24-27) – Jesus provides a coins in a fish’s mouth
Freedom (Luke 9:37-43) – Jesus heals a demon possessed boy
Resurrection (John 11:1-44) – Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead
Creative Miracle (John 2:1-11) – Jesus turns water into wine
Faith (Matthew 8:5-13) – Jesus heals the Centurion’s servant from a distance
Weather Miracle (Mark 4:35-41) – Jesus calms the storm
Healing Infirmity (John 5:1-17) – Jesus heals a man who had been crippled for 38 years
Overcoming the Impossible (Matthew 14:22-33) – Jesus walks on water

There are so many testimonies of miracles in the Word of God. A testimony pertaining to your specific need might not seem like it’s there, but it is! You might not need a huge catch of fish, but the principle in this testimony is obey the Holy Spirit’s leading. You probably don’t need water turned into wine, but what does that have to do with your situation? Simple, Jesus can transform what you have into what you need!

Each testimony that we read in the Word of God or that is shared is an invitation for God perform His miracle working power again…for you!

Miracles Are Happening Daily On GOD TV

Woman Healed Of Chest Pain On Facebook Live

We’ve also seen some amazing miracles through our daily Facebook Lives. Here is a testimony from one our GOD TV team members, Kate McClure. If you are suffering from COVID, chest pain, going through chemo posture your heart to receive this miracle testimony as you read what God has done!

Kate went live on our Relentless Woman Facebook page to pray for healing.

At the exact moment Kate went live, a woman named Connie was having terrible chest pain and picked up the phone to dial 911. Right when she was about to dial 911, she heard the Lord tell her to go on Facebook and she obeyed.

As she opened up her FB app, she saw that someone (me) was live on Relentless Woman and joined the live. She commented that she was having chest pain and was actually about to call 911 emergency and that she also had arthritis.

I saw Connie’s comment come through and felt like I needed to pray specifically for her and then for her family.

A few months later, Connie commented on another Relentless Woman FB live, letting us know her testimony from that prayer.

She told us that she was going through chemo, had COVID, and was having such terrible chest pain that she was going to call 911 emergency. But she listened to God instead. She said that after I prayed for her, the chest pain went away!

Her husband and doctor still wanted her to go to the emergency room. After a bunch of tests and 6 hours of waiting, the doctor confirmed what she already knew. She was healed!”

Prayer: Father, I believe that You are not constrained by time or space. I receive what You’ve done for Connie for myself (or insert name of loved one). I believe what You’ve done before, You can do again in me right now, in Jesus name, amen.

Miracle Baby: Doctors ‘Astonished’ As Jesus Intervenes In Critical Situation

Gabriella Oliveri is a miracle baby. Shortly after birth, her breathing faltered, then her heart stopped. For four minutes she lay lifeless and all seemed lost. But her brave parents refused to give up on God. Where others could only see oxygen tubes and a flatlining heart rate monitor, her mother Hayley had a vision of Jesus and her dad, Nathaniel told the doctor to ‘prepare to be astonished’.

Prepare to be astonished indeed as you watch this heart-rending video that reveals what God can do when believers choose to step out in faith. Parents trusting God to turn an impossible situation around, a fearless pastor refusing to accept the worst outcome and a baby literally raised from the dead… this doesn’t sound like everyday life to me. It’s quite astounding really, but that shouldn’t be the case.

Miracles, signs and wonders can be the norm in the lives of ordinary Christians because we serve an extraordinary God. This is the idea behind Nathaniel and Hayley Oliveri’s ministry known as ‘Normal Christian Life’. Nathan is one passionate believer. He must be to have gone around praying for others to be healed while his own daughter lay dying.

What do we do when crisis comes?

“What do we do as Christians when a crisis comes?” asks Nathaniel in the video. “When we are facing a serious trial and are overwhelmed… What if we weren’t moved by any situation around us because of Jesus within us? The world is waiting to see Christians go through trials and have unconditional peace.”

It’s not surprising then, that this video has had over 3.6 million views on YouTube and more than 8,000 comments.

The world is watching us as believers, looking to us to be an example when things go wrong in our lives and point them to the answer, Jesus, offering them hope in the darkest of times.

Miracle Baby

Gabriella’s story is one that moves people deeply. I was so touched while watching. We can all be inspired by the words of Hayley Oliveri who talks about putting fear aside and embracing ‘a bubble of God’s peace’. “Right then was a very weak moment,” she says, ” but I saw a vision of Jesus. He walked right up to Gabriella and put His hand on her.” After that, she knew everything would be all right. We may not be so fortunate to have such a vision in our situation, but we can rest assured that Jesus is with us because He has promised to never leave us or forsake us.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

At one point, the logical condition was that Gabriella would not survive. But Nathaniel was prepared to share the Gospel no matter what. His faith was sufficient to boldly tell the doctors and nurses that his daughter would live, despite her deteriorating condition. It seems disrespectful to tell medical professionals what to do, but we have to make a stand for our faith. Nathaniel told the doctor to ‘prepare to be astonished’, but he also asked what was medically necessary for a recovery. He then prayed for that process, step-by-step. Without being glib or haughty, we can be confident in our God and believe Him for His intervention in our lives.

I loved the part where the medical staff called the couple’s pastor because they thought they were in denial. They hoped she would help them come to terms with the reality of the situation, but they underestimated Katherine Ruonala of Glory City Church. She is not your average pastor! Instead of encouraging the Oliveris to accept their daughter’s fate, Pastor Katherine told them to take a photo, “You’re going to need it for the testimony!”‘ And, she instructed the nurses to help express milk for the baby.

“There is nothing God cannot do!” she concludes and that applies equally to this real-life account of a miracle baby and whatever miracle God wants to birth in your life.”

Mud Can Become A Place Of Redemption

For many years when I was stumbling around in the dark. I was tripping, searching, breaking, destroying, questioning, fearing, as if I was blind and did not ever have a clue where I was going. Except for Jesus. HE knew where I was. HE knew every misstep I took. HE knew every lost moment I would never reclaim. HE knew my every fear and He called them by their names when I couldn’t. HE held me until that day – the day when He gave me back my sight. When I was blind and basically used to NOT being able to see, did I hope to ever see? I feel like I had nothing to compare to being blind in my soul – I had been that way for as long as I can remember. I couldn’t SEE … yet. Just like the blind man, blind from birth.

And THIS Bible story I have heard my whole life – NOW I get it.

THE MAN BORN BLIND

“As He went along, He saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. As long as it is day, we must do the works of Him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” After saying this, He spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” He told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam”. So the man went and washed, and came home seeing. His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?” Some claimed that he was. Others said, “No, he only looks like him.” But he himself insisted, “I am the man.” “How then were your eyes opened?” they asked. He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.” (John 9) And so there is that. Blind but now he sees! I want to tear this story apart – so much there I never researched or explored or considered. And so much about it that can relate to each of us on a personal level.

First of all, it was not hereditary that he was blind. He didn’t become blind because of anything he had done (not a consequence) nor was it his parent’s fault. I am guessing they blamed themselves, as ALL parents do when anything goes wrong with their children – we always think it is something we did. And any injustice is attached with blame and shame. Right here Jesus makes it clear – the man was blind and it was not his fault. We tend to judge others’ flaws as if somehow they chose it. Gee, I think I will choose to not have my sight – sounds like a great plan. NOT. Life just happens.

PURPOSE FOR THE BLINDNESS

Next, Jesus said there was a purpose (a profitable aftermath) for the man’s blindness. (the supernatural works of God on display in him) Whoa. Wait. Really? Think about that. So that thing in our lives that is our cross to bear so to speak, can become the very thing that defines us with a purpose and a WHY? That is deep and intense and troubling really. Okay, keep going. Jesus explains how dark the world is, and how short our time is here. He says that HE is the light of the world and while here on earth, basically He must perform miracles so others will believe – so generations (us) who follow behind people like the blind man, will be reminded of His power to redeem and heal and restore. Basically, Jesus came to be the proof of God. OHHHHHH man, I am starting to really GET IT! My shame from abuse kept me bowed down, face to the ground.

The blind man – okay – how did Jesus heal him? WHAT did He use? Well, the actual ground where the blind man had stumbled and fell; the dirt he had sat in for years and years. THE SAME DIRT. What had been his place of captivity and shame, became his place of healing and purpose. No longer simply dirt – the ground became the very thing that Jesus used to anoint the blind man’s eyes to see! When you add Jesus to any equation (even dirt piles) they become places of redemption.

This is a lot. Go a bit deeper – Jesus spit on the dirt to turn it to mud to put on his eyes. Even the spit of God is miraculous. Whoa.

UNEXPECTED PLACES OF REDEMPTION

Okay, moving on. Jesus sent him (with mud caked on his eyes) to the Pool of Siloam. (Aren’t you curious what his thoughts were?) The Pool of Siloam was where fresh water was stored, also called the Lower Pool in Isaiah 22:9. “You saw that the walls of the City of David were broken through in many places; you stored up water in the Lower Pool.” Siloam means “sent”. (Wikipedia) The even deeper meaning is that the pool was filled with fresh and clear gushing water. And the water was stored there because of all the broken places around it. (Cue the crickets…that is something to really ponder.)

Also, being sent to this particular Pool gives Jesus’ miracle credibility from then to NOW – it is an actual historic location – not something in a story without authenticity or fact. I had to laugh at the reference for this Pool’s credibility and location – II Kings 20:20. Blind man gets his sight back here – WOW. Right? 20/20 vision.

Don’t we want OUR stories to be authentic and real, so generations to come will have reason to believe them as truth? Jesus clearly had a plan, from start to finish. At some point we are required to just have that ONE moment when we have some faith in the same Jesus.

THE MESSY ROAD TO REDEMPTION

Let’s back up a minute – Jesus SENT him there. The blind man had to get there still blind, but NOW with hope in his heart and mud on his eyes. His healing was a journey – he had to trust this man – I wonder if he knew it was Jesus or who Jesus was – no, I don’t think so, but his heart knew what his mind could not. He was encountering the Son of God and if He said get to the Pool of Siloam, he was going there. I find this significant for me – when I decided to take my journey back to find my own healing, well – it was a choice I made.

I felt that pull into the unknown – I know now that was Jesus calling me, just like He called the blind man. I will heal you, yes – I need YOU to do this first, as an act of your faith and trust. And He sent the blind man on his journey – still blind, eyes caked with mud and spit from heaven (so to speak) – maybe this represents all our fears mixed with hope that become our driving force for the healing – and He sent him to a spring of clear life giving water where Jesus told him to wash himself. All the wows. SO deep.

I WAS BLING BUT NOW I SEE

Finally, well – there was the miracle as we know it – the blind man was NO LONGER BLIND. Mission accomplished. All I can suggest here is to put yourself in the place of the blind man – with your own unique story, but with the same Jesus.

16 Year Old Boy Healed From Gastroparesis

This is the case report of a boy who was unable to eat or drink for the first 16 years of his life because of a condition called gastroparesis, where his stomach was unable to contract. He received maximal medical treatment but did not improve in that time, doing multiple surgeries and receiving multiple medications throughout his life.

After receiving prayer, he was able to eat a full meal for the first time in his life, and to date, six years later, he has been able to eat normally, and has had no need to see the pediatric gastroenterologist or surgeon, take any medication, nor has he had any health problems.

Here is what the published medical report says about the prayers that led to this miraculous healing: “He commanded the healing in the authority and power of Jesus. He made a point of indicating that he had no power or authority to heal, but only with the authority of Jesus Christ, he could command the healing.”

I Won’t Be Placed In Bondage Of Fear!

In light of what is happening in the world, it is necessary to boldly declare the authority we have in the Holy Spirit. I won’t be placed in bondage of fear! This is a declaration to shout from the rooftops. Especially when we know Jesus Christ set us free with His sacrifice on the cross. For most of my life, I lived in the bondage of fear, pride, and selfishness and one day, in October of 2014, He had an encounter with me that changed everything.

Encounter With God

This encounter created a hunger for wisdom of Biblical truth and Holy Spirit love that burns deep in my soul. I won’t be placed in bondage of fear! There must be a “sureness” to our faith that allows us to be bold, to declare facts we believe Jesus Christ will honor and bless. To be bold I must know beyond doubt who God is, what Jesus did, and why I am here for such a time as this (see Romans 8:31-39).

Because of Jesus, we are connected to the Most High God and nothing can separate us, not even death! What does this mean? The Holy Spirit lives in me because I have chosen to submit my flesh life to His authority. This should be a “sureness” of our salvation and a refining that takes place with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Have you had your encounter? When did you get baptized with the fire of the Holy Spirit? What was it like? If we are sure of our salvation and of the Holy Spirit being alive in us, then we must learn to follow His lead (see Matthew 8:2-3, Luke 5:12-13, Luke 10:17-19, and Mark 11:22-26).

Facts

1. Jesus healed a man with a disease that was considered highly contagious and incurable by touching him.
2. With the Holy Spirit, we can step on snakes and scorpions and they cannot harm us. This is literal, spiritual, and metaphorical.
3. If we have the faith to declare and believe then our petitions shall come to pass but it requires a pure heart

These facts should build a confidence in us that stands as a light on a hill. If Jesus can lay hands on a sick person that was considered unclean, contagious and incurable, then I can heal people from the coronavirus. Then, as long as I do not suppress the Holy Spirit in me I can step on the snake or scorpion called COVID-19 and it cannot harm me. Finally, if my faith is greater than a mustard seed then I can bind this bondage of fear that has come upon the world and send it back to the depths of hell, while we release the joy, peace, and comfort of God upon the nations.

Reflection Points

1. Are we living a biblical life? Do we believe the Holy Bible is true in every scripture and word? Not just positive prosperity scriptures, but also revelations and judgment for our unwillingness to forgive.
2. Do we agree the Bible is the authority of God and ruler of our lives, even when it contradicts government, experiences, college degrees, mom or dad?
3. Will we seek and listen to biblical instruction or are we blinded by religion and doctrinal differences?
4. Is this “Jesus life” an everyday thing or just a sometimes on Sunday, Easter, and Christmas thing?
5. Do I worship daily, lead my family in communion often, and meditate on God’s inspired word regularly?
6. Do we place the blood of Jesus Christ on our physical and spiritual doors daily? On ourselves and anyone God puts on our heart to pray for?

Divine Healing

We regularly come across the manifestations of divine healing in the Bible. Behold, Jesus Christ walked the Earth giving sight to the blind, opening the ears of the deaf, strengthening the legs of the lame to walk, restoring speech to the mute, healing all kinds of sicknesses, and above all bringing back the dead to life. It is without a doubt that healing was a vital part of his Earthly ministry. This leaves many wondering what has become of this important part of His ministry. It is in this light that we’ll find out from the Bible verses with healing messages whether it is possible to still benefit from divine healing these days.

Before proceeding, it is important to clearly understand what divine healing is all about. Divine healing is the supernatural act of God through His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and the prayers of the faithful where a person is completely healed physically and/or delivered from spiritual, emotional, or mental affliction. Most often, many perceive it as physical healing of sicknesses such as deformities, known and unknown diseases as well as severe cancers. It is without a doubt that God is willing and able to bring divine healing to physical sicknesses like cancer just as we can read from the healing scriptures for cancer. However, we must not limit God’s healing power to the physical because it goes beyond that.

Divine Healing – what the Bible says

As followers of Christ, we are heirs of divine healing as we can read from Isaiah 53:5 – “But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging, we are healed.” Let’s get more Biblical support from Matthew 8:16-17 – “When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill. This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: ‘He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases.’” This very spiritual truth is portrayed in 1 Peter 2:24 – “and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.”

Brethren, with the above scriptures in mind, do not let anyone deceive you. Behold, by His wounds, we were healed and made whole. Whatever be the sickness or health issue that is depriving your mind of dwelling in peace, bring it to the Lord in prayers through Christ, the mighty healer. Come before Him without any doubt but rather with the spirit of faith to render the impossible possible because all things are possible with God. He did it in the past, He is still doing it today, and He will certainly do it in the days to come as we can read from Hebrews 13:8 – “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Benefiting from God’s healing power now

The Bible tells us what it takes to benefit from divine healing these days as we can read from James 5:14-15 – “Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.” For more info, you can read Bible verses for healing KJV.
