After Being Paralyzed by a Car Accident, This Man Received a Message From God

A man testified to a life-changing event after being paralyzed by a car accident that turned his life around. When he was about to give up, he heard a message from God.

Paralyzed by a Car Accident

When he got into an accident, Vincent didn’t know if he would ever recover.

He was on his way to help his younger brother, who had a problem with his car.

“I pull the truck back, and I pull out on the highway, taking my time. I don’t put my seatbelt back on simply because this is just a quick, little turnaround. This is easy; we do this all the time,” he recalled.

But as soon as he got to the farthest fast lane, another pickup truck was coming off the exit and T-boned Vincent right in the middle of his pickup truck.

“Almost split it in half. I flew from the driver’s side all the way to the passenger side of the truck, and the most damage was done when my neck snapped back and my spine was severed,” he said.

Healed After Being Paralyzed by a Car Accident

He woke up in the hospital a couple days later, but what he noticed was that he couldn’t feel his body. Before he could even get a thought of what was going on, he heard the voice of the Lord.

“Don’t panic. I will heal you.”

“Those few words taught me that this wasn’t a punishment; this was an assignment. … It’s almost like God just knows who can handle what. He said, He’ll never put more on you than you can bear, and I truly believe that. I’ve lived it,” Vincent said.

In moments like that, all you can do is lean on God. You don’t know that God is all you need and that God is all you have until you’ve seen the dead end.

And so, because of what happened, Vincent made up his mind.

Who is Jesus to You?

“I made it my mind immediately; I’m going to be the guy who applies everything that I’ve believed in my whole life. In this season, I need God more now than ever,” he said.

When asked who Jesus was to him, he said, “Everything. He’s my example; He’s my father; He’s my strength. … I believe that Jesus is the true Son of God. He walked this earth, He lived, He was crucified, He gave His life for us. … I shall live and not die. He died so that I can be here today and live. He died so that I could live for him,” he concluded.

Man Asked God to Show Him If He’s Real; What He Experienced Shocked Him

Anthony Stanley recently shared his testimony about askeing God to show him if He’s real.

Right then and there, he encountered God.

His Life Growing Up

At a very young age, Anthony knew Jesus. But when he went to college, he struggled with sexual sin.

“I didn’t drink, I didn’t do drugs, that was nothing I wanted to do because of, again, looking at my family, seeing them strung out on drugs and drinking alcohol, it’s just something I said I’m going to stay away from,” he said.

Even though he tried to stay away from those, sex was something he couldn’t resist.

“I would have different girls like all the time, and I reached a moment in college to where I said I’m tired of this lifestyle I said I need to know if this God that I serve, that I felt when I was young, His presence, I need to know if it’s real,” he said.

He Asked God to Show Him if He’s Real

So, he prayed. “It was a Saturday night. I’ll never forget it, it was from 9:00 a.m. all the way to 9:00 p.m. I prayed that long, praying to God, asking Him to come into my life. Asking Him to show me if He’s real,” Anthony said.

He prayed: “Lord, if You’re real, you need to show Yourself to me, like right now.”

Anthony recalled some of the services he had attended over the years.

“And you think you’re different but then you go back with the same struggles,” he said.

So he prayed again: “God, no, I don’t want any of that to happen here today. I need to know that You are real and You’re the true and living God.”

The Encounter

He kept praying and crying and nothing happened. He didn’t feel anything.

Anthony concluded that God’s not real. That’s until He showed up.

“So I grab my broom and I begin to sweep, and like a mighty rushing wind, here comes the Holy Spirit into my apartment, knocks me face first on the ground. And for the first time, I’m filled with the Holy Spirit. I’m speaking in a whole another language, and I’m like this is totally new for me. I looked up and here’s this cloud hovering over me and I knew it was real,” he said.

Anthony thought he was hallucinating. But as he looked up, out of the cloud a voice came and it said, “Anthony, I called you to be a prophet to the nations.”

He Asked God to Show Him if He’s Real And He Appeared

Furthermore, the voice said, “I’m going to use you and what I want you to do at this time is I want you to leave school and I want you to go back home. I’m going to raise you up to be a worship leader and I’m going to use you in a great capacity. The prophetic is going to be something that you master and I’m just going to do a lot of different things in your life.”

He called his mom and she had just been praying for him!

“I said, “I just had an encounter with Jesus,” and she started crying on the phone. We were just crying on the phone and man, I can tell you that was the day that I fell in love with Christ because He showed himself to me. He showed me how real He really was,” Anthony said.

Woman’s Son Was Delivered After Being Baptized In A Satanic Temple

Yamisbel Garcia shared how God used someone to deliver his son after being baptized in a Satanic temple.

Because of her upbringing, Yamisbel found herself searching for love at a young age.

“I was rejected at conception. My mother was in her early 20s, and she had three children. They were all small, under the age of five. When she found out that she was expecting another child, she tried home remedies to have an abortion. Obviously, it didn’t work,” she said.

Yamisbel grew up in a very abusive household.At times, he was also violent toward her and her siblings. This only drove Yamisbel farther from her parents.

Her Son Was Baptized in a Satanic Temple

Yamisbel’s siblings eventually left home and she was the only one left with their parents.

“I became rebellious because I felt abandoned. I was the only one left at home, so I became very rebellious, to the point where I’m like talking back. And all the abuse that I saw was affecting me,” she said.

Then she met the father of her children in Puerto Rico. Yamisbel got pregnant at age 17. Because of her partner’s spiritual beliefs, she agreed to baptize her son in a Satanic temple.

When they got entangled with her partner’s family problems, they moved to the United States.

There, she met a man who introduced Jesus to her.

“In a Cage”

“I started working at a Colombian bakery. It so happened that the owner of the Colombian bakery was a Christian. He was a Christian leader, and that was the first time I ever heard about Jesus. … And I remember every time he used to talk about Jesus, I used to be in awe. I would make sure that I get the bakery clean and everything is done before my time is up so I can sit down and we can have coffee and talk about Jesus,” Yamisbel recalled.

When her son came to the bakery, the owner said something strange to Yamisbel.

“He said, “I see in the spirit that your son is in a cage. Is there any type of prayer upon him because I keep seeing him in this cage in the spirit?” And I was like, “Well, I mean, I baptized him in a satanic temple,” she recalled.

The owner was taken aback, but he knew he had to do something.

“He was like, he gave me a little prayer; he wrote it down, and he said to plead the blood of Jesus over my son and pray for him every night,” Yamisble said.

She prayed overnight for her son and did this consistently for about a week.

And then her son started walking as if it were like he had come back to life.

Praise God!

“And to me, it was like, “Wow.” It was the first time that I ever saw firsthand the power of Jesus,” she said.

Woman Who Grew Up In A Family Of Witches Follows Jesus

A woman who grew up in a family of witches follows Jesus after encountering His love at a church. It was at that moment that her life changed forever.

Family of Witches Follows Jesus

Julie’s family practiced the occult and had five generations of witches in their lineage. She said it was quite normal in Colombia.

“I remember as a young girl, three or four years old, my great-grandmother took me to a place with one man, and they put me in a ring of fire. They were initiating me. I think from that moment something was activated in my life,” Julie recalled.

But what her great-grandmother didn’t know is that on the other side, Julie’s aunt was taking her to church. She believed that there was a good seed planted deep within her and only realized it years later.

During her teenage years, Julie became suicidal, especially after she lost her father to suicide.

Losing a Loved One

“At that point, I was trying to commit suicide because this demon that was in my spirit—this guy—was harassing me and pushing me. He wanted more because when you partner with darkness, when you are consecrated, there is a point that you have to give more to go to the next level,” she said.

But the enemy didn’t win. Soon, Julie was invited by a friend to go to a church.

The 19-year-old Julie was so excited to go to that place. She was hoping and waiting to find something more.

And she wasn’t disappointed.

Welcome Home

She recalled, “And I remember it wasn’t the biggest church. It was actually quite tiny, like 20–30 people. I remember when I put my foot in that place; it was like something that I had never experienced in my life. This presence suddenly just hugged me, and I felt such a love that I have never felt in my life. This person came; he was the apostle, the father of the house, and he just saw me, and he smiled. I saw Jesus through his face. He hugged me, and he said, “Welcome home.”

At that moment, she started to shake, and a presence just took over her. That was her encounter with the love of God, and from that moment on, every time that she went to church, she encountered Jesus.

When asked who Jesus is, Julie said, “My Savior. He just changed my life. I will say He is my everything, and I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for Him. And I know that if He wasn’t here, I wouldn’t be here. I would be lost. I would be dead. That’s why, for me, having intimacy with Him is so important.”

“I know it might sound cliche, but He is my redeemer; He is my father. Because when I lost my father, the first encounter that I had was with the Father. The first encounter that I have with His love, with His salvation, so He is for me, my father. My Savior, my Redeemer, and it’s so much more that I couldn’t even say. You have to feel it and live it to be able to experience it,” she said.

Jasmine Weller grew up witnessing her stepdad constantly abusing her mother. They even got to a point where she and her mom had to hide from him. “We get home and as soon as we walk through the door, they start arguing, they start fighting, my stepdad is threatening my mom so I ran up to the room and closed the door. And what I would do at that age was that I would just turn on music and just blast it. Because to me, music was a part of how I would get away from the chaos, and how I would cope with the things that were going on in my life and in our home. My CD player at that time stopped working and so now I’m having to hear the sounds of the arguments. I’m having to hear the sounds of all the turmoil that’s happening.”

Jasmine questioned God, doubting if He cared about them. One night, after expressing her pain to God, He supernaturally encountered her! For the very first time, the love, care, and comfort she had been searching for had been given to her.

“Lord, if you care, if you’re really the God that I think you are. If you are a good Father, if you’re God who can see me, who knows me, I need You to do something to show yourself right now in my room. The moment I said it, it felt like this blanket fell on my body.”

When asked who Jesus is for her, Jasmine answered that it was Him who led him to forgive the people who had caused her pain. It was also Jesus who forgave all her sins and gave her a brand-new start.

“Jesus is mercy to me, undeserved kindness. I think about the forgiveness that Jesus led me into with my stepdad and my biological father.”

At The Brink Of Death, A Man Realized His Need For Jesus

Eliel Banegas shared his testimony about how God gave him grace to turn away from a lifestyle that was destroying him. He realized his need for Jesus.

His Story

Eliel Banegas grew up in a Christian home. But when his family moved to a different place, he got exposed to substance use when he was 15 years old. It was because of the influence around him.

“I started to think to myself, “I want a taste of that. I want a taste of that world, I want a little taste of fame and that kind of attention. And I want a taste of what sex is like. I want a taste of what drugs are like, I want a taste of what excitement is outside of the four Walls of my home and outside of the four Walls of my church,” he said.

From that moment, Eliel saw Christianity from the lens of just trying to restrict him and take away his freedom.

His Need For Jesus To Be Alive

And then he started using heavy drugs and was in a relationship with a woman whom he thought he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

He left home and eventually lived with his girlfriend who practiced witchcraft.

Things went downhill from there. One day Eliel took LSD and started seeing the spiritual realm.

“A great fear came over me and it was like my life started almost flashing before me. … I’m supposed to be hallucinating, this is supposed to be a good time. But why are my sins being put before me? Why am I realizing right now that the woman that I’m with, that I thought was supposed to be my everything, is actually possessed by demons? Is actually doing and practicing witchcraft?” Eliel recalled.

This Man Realized His Need For Jesus To Be Alive

At that moment, he realized if he were to die that day, “and as a matter of fact if I’m not already dead, I’m gonna go to hell.”

Eliel realized that and it would be because of every decision he made. It is because he decided to disobey God, it is because he decided to do drugs, disobeyed because he decided to do things his way and not to seek counsel.

“It was nobody else’s, it was my responsibility. And in that moment, thinking to myself like, “If I’m bound for hell, what could save me? Who could save me?” And God put this thought in my mind: Jesus. In the name of Jesus there is power, in the name of Jesus to save you even from the clutches of hell. Even from any demonic power or forces. At that moment, that was the first time I’ve ever looked at Jesus as the answer. And I thought, “I need Jesus.”

Woman Testified How God Didn’t Give Up On Her

Celestial Moya recently shared how God intervened when she gave permission to the devil to help her. She has not been the same since then.

How God Didn’t Give Up

After accepting Jesus in her life, Celestial Moya still struggled with her Christian walk.

She came to a place where, a year later, she stopped feeling God’s presence. She thought God was leaving her.

“I thought that God abandoned me like everybody else in my life. I tried to hang on for a little bit but I started to get resentful. And I started to feel like “this is too good to be true, this is my life.” I gave up on following God,” she said.

She went back to the party lifestyle that always led to emptiness.

“The good times were good only when you were doing it but afterwards, everything that you’re feeling just settles right back on you,” she said.

Having experienced God’s goodness in her life, Celestial experienced God’s love firsthand.

God’s Conviction

So, she continued to seek God even though it wasn’t consistent.

“The second time that I started pursuing God again, this guy came into my life. I had never been in a relationship. I’ve always wanted to, I always wanted to be in a relationship, I always wanted love, like that was my dream. It was like any form of love like I want,” she said.

When she started receiving attention from this man, she remembered having a conviction from God to not pursue the relationship.

But she didn’t listen. In the end, the man broke her heart.

“I just remember being so angry with God. “Why can’t I have nothing good in my life? Why do you hate me?” And I remember I was looking in the mirror and I remember saying, “If you don’t help me, well then, I give permission to the devil to help me,” she said.

How She Gave Permission To The Devil But God Intervened

“Immediately I felt so much fear come over me and I took it back in a second,” she said.

She started partying again but also felt convicted.

“I would just start telling my friends, “We shouldn’t be living this way. There’s so much more to life.” They hated to take me out, they were like, “Why do we bring her out? Because every time she goes out, she starts preaching?” To the point where people would be like, “You’re the girl that talks about Jesus,” Celest recalled.

She was longing for Jesus but her soul was broken, fractured, and it didn’t know how to fully find Jesus.

Celestial talked to God one night: “I looked up and I was like, “Leave me alone. When I want to follow You, I will follow You. Leave me alone.”

God didn’t leave her.

“I’m so thankful that He didn’t. God was so relenting in his pursuit over my life. What I need is in Jesus, and knowing that everything that I’m doing will never satisfy me. I always knew that following Jesus meant giving up your way,” she said.

Man Testified How Pornography Addiction Destroyed His Life And How God Set Him Free

Michael Manzie shared his testimony about how pornography destroyed his life and how God set him free from it.

How Pornography Addiction Destroyed His Life

Mike grew up having a low self-esteem. It resulted from having a severe skin condition and feeling small for his age back then.

“At that time I just remember being so very lonely. I never felt that I could go to my dad or my mom at times and talk about those things,” he said.

One day, some of the kids in his neighborhood invited him to their house. One of the kids showed him a toolbox and he couldn’t believe what he saw.

“I still remember it as it was yesterday. He had a toolbox, a little kid toolbox and he opened it up and I saw a picture of a woman on the outside. And then they opened this up and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It was the first time I saw a naked woman,” he said.

His Marriage

“This euphoric feeling filled up in me and I was just captivated by this. And I didn’t know what I was feeling, I just knew it was exciting on one hand but on the other hand, I knew it was wrong,” Mike added.

From then on, Mike was constantly looking for that euphoric feeling. Eventually, he became addicted to pornography. He couldn’t get out of it.

Then one day, Mike did something he regretted for the rest of his life.

He cheated on his first wife.

“I remember when I dated that porn star. And I remember having sex with her, but it was the most shallow, awful feeling I’ve ever had in my life to this day,” he said.

Mike was already going to the church during this time. And one day, the pastor’s sermon spoke to him very deeply.

God’s Grace

Mike recalled, “I remember going to the church and the first thing that the pastor said was, “I have an announcement to make. I committed the sin of David.” And I looked at her [his wife] and I said, “What’s that?” And she said, “Well, he committed adultery.” Just that, I felt the Lord just convicted me at that point and said: “This has to stop.”

Mike and his wife went through counseling. He also got counseling for his addiction.

He experienced God’s redemption and restoration. He then realized the “idols” in his life.

“He restored me. He said, “I will re-parent you.” And I realized in both my marriages now that I look towards my wife as my god. My wife makes a great wife, but they make a lousy God.”

Pornography Addiction Destroyed His Life But God Saved Him

“I realize now that I have to take– when I’m lonely, when I feel insecure or shameful, I take it to Jesus because He’s the ultimate comforter. And I didn’t have to do a lot of it but I realized He took that pain in me. And that’s what we miss. I don’t care if it’s pornography addiction, or drugs, or alcohol, or shopping, or Facebook, we all have pain in our heart. We have sin in our heart. But if we don’t deal with that pain and we don’t allow Jesus to do it, and that’s a miraculous story that I love to share. Because I’m like an onion and God is still continuing to peel those layers of my life and saying, “I’m transforming you until your time is to go to glory,” Mike said.

Woman Shares How Ministry Became Her Identity, Then God Said, “You Forgot About Me”

Celestial Moya recently shared how God freed her from her past. But because of her experiences, she thought her efforts weren’t enough for God. That’s how ministry became her identity.

When Ministry Became Her Identity

Celestial Moya had a rough start in life. She experienced many terrible things that made her feel bad about herself.

“I got delivered. I was set free from a lot of things. In my younger years, I got abused sexually, and so that opened the door to a lot of perverted thoughts, mindsets, dreams that I had no control of,” Celestial said.

When she was set free, she became so on fire for God. And so, she wanted to help others, too.

“These things I’ve been dealing with for years I didn’t have to deal with now. I was like, “Then why are other people dealing with this?”

How Ministry Became Her Identity

“So I started to step into ministry with Jesus. I started praying for people and I would see them be delivered, I would see them be healed, and it was so amazing,” she said.

It was such an exciting time with God and it started out so pure, but without realizing it, it became tainted because she was still wounded from her childhood.

“I let ministry become my identity, I let the things that I do for God define who I was. I was not doing from love but I was doing for love,” she said.

DAVID PLATT: “IN MATTERS OF LOVE, ONE MUST GO HIMSELF”

But God spoke to her.

She remembered Him saying, “You’re doing all these things for Me but you’re forgetting about me.”

God’s Unconditional Love

Though she experienced Jesus, Celestial said she didn’t fully know Him. She admitted that she allowed other people’s words to define her.

But slowly and surely, she understood who she is and who God is the moment she started reading the Bible with her whole heart.

“I just remember God saying so clearly. He’s like, “I don’t ask you to read so that I could love you more. I asked you to read so that you could understand My love for you,” Celestial recalled.

She then shared a revelation from God that ultimately grounded and rooted her as His follower.

“I remember Him just telling me, “I didn’t come for the drunk Celest. I came for the little girl who believed the lie that she wasn’t enough.”

God’s Validation

“There were these little moments that God would have with me where He would just reveal just these aspects of His heart that blew me away. Because the way I love God today is because of the way that He’s loved me. And the way I love other people is out of an overflow of His love for me.”

“I didn’t realize how deep and how unconditional and how great it is. His love is healing. The reason why I could talk today about my testimony without tears is because God has fully restored me in His love. Because I realized that if Jesus loves you, that’s all you need. Jesus’s validation is enough,” she concluded.

A Woman Was Looking for Love in the Wrong Places Until Jesus Spoke To Her

Theresa Thomas shared her testimony about how she was looking for love in the wrong places but God met her, where she exactly was.

Why Looking for Love in the Wrong Places

During her teenage years, Theresa tried to be accepted in any crowd. She tried hard to feel a connection that she didn’t get at home.

“I would do things that were outside of my character, but I would do them because I wanted to fit in. I would do all these things that everybody else is doing, but it still wasn’t good enough,” she said.

She said that she wasn’t cool enough and still didn’t fit in.

“I still was what they would say—lame and all these things. And I was like, “What am I doing wrong? Like, why isn’t it that I don’t fit in?”

Because of her desire for connection, she had an unhealthy romantic relationship.

“The relationship was not healthy at all in any shape or form. Eventually, it became abusive,” she said.

Looking for Love in the Wrong Places

Because of that, Theresa desperately prayed to God: “God, how did I get into this? How did I go from this girl who was with my family and all this—this young girl who everyone says was so happy—to this girl who’s so broken, so shattered, so lost, and so insecure?”

And immediately, she heard God speak, and He said, “I have better for you.”

“And I start crying, and I’m sitting there in that basement, and I’m just crying. I said, “God, I can’t do this by myself.” And He said, “I’ll be there for you.”

That’s all Theresa needed to hear.

Jesus became her everything. Her Lord, Savior, redeemer, healer, counselor, and friend.

New Life

“He is everything that I could possibly need on this earth and into eternity. … This is for those who feel as though you’re lost and that God can never love or choose you. Or you feel as though even life may not be worth living, knowing that if you’re breathing, you’re here for a purpose. Know that you are loved, that you were seen, that you were chosen, and that God wants nothing more than to have a relationship with you.”

“God wants nothing more than for Him to reveal all the beautiful things that He has placed inside of you. That you are not too far gone, you are not too lost, and you are not too dirty for Him to clean you up. There is a purpose for you on this earth. If you woke up this morning, there is a purpose for you, and the way you will discover that purpose is by having a relationship with the one who gave you that purpose—your Creator,” she concluded.
