Astrology, crystals, and tarot cards ruled Victoria’s life, but that all changed after she attended a Planetshakers event.
Astrology and Crystals
Victoria grew up in Brisbane, Australia in a Catholic family. She learned a lot about Jesus at a young age but it eventually stopped. During her teenage years, she started partying, drinking, and all other worldly things. But in her 20s, she felt the urge to search for the missing piece in her life.
Feeling something was lacking, she turned to astrology and other spiritual mediums to search for answers. Victoria even tried doing a ouija board one time which led her to see demonic spirits. It was when her friend came to her house for a sleepover, they played with the ouija board before going to sleep.

Victoria’s Testimony
In the middle of the night, Victoria woke up and saw a little girl standing in the hallways outside her room, it was where they did the ouija board. She tried to ignore it but her friend suddenly woke up and pointed to the hallway and said that there was a girl in the hallway. It was one of the most terrifying experiences she had. When COVID-19 broke out, she got into crystals and tarot cards.
After some time, a friend invited her to join a Planetshakers event. She thought that it would be the same boring church she attended when she was still young, but God changed her perception. The Holy Spirit touched her and she began weeping, that’s when she finally surrendered her life to God. Victoria gave her life to Jesus during that event.
“Alright God, I don’t know what’s going on but I surrender, I quit. I don’t know what’s happening, why am I like this? I’m suffering all this pain, and I just give up. I can’t do this without You, I need help. I’ve never prayed like that ever, I don’t even know what caused me to pray and do that. And then the next day… God just completely gave me this new concept of what church was and everything I’ve experienced growing up,” she recalled with tears in her eyes.
Surrender
The Holy Spirit touched her and she began weeping, that’s when she finally surrendered her life to God. Victoria gave her life to Jesus during that event.
“Since then, He’s just completely changed my whole perception of life.”
She then threw out all her crystals, tarot decks, and all the astrology symbols she had. Victoria finally saw who Jesus is for the first time. She then started going to church and joining some ministries including evangelism and deliverance. Today, 10 months after she gave her life to Jesus, Victoria shares her testimony with everyone.
No one is ever too far or too sinful to come to the Lord. No matter what you’ve done in your life, no matter who you are, if you just come to Him and confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us just as He has forgiven Victoria.
