Spontaneous Meetings in Israel
Following the wave of the Asbury University revival, something similar happened in Israel. Groups of people gathered for spontaneous meetings and worship.
Like Ryan Delling’s group. As one of the worship leaders, Ryan claimed to have visited Jerusalem’s upper room numerous times. He said, “I have been to the upper room in Jerusalem many times over the years, and I have never seen this happen. Usually, it is fairly quiet, with a few groups singing songs.”
Also, Jenny Weaver’s Core Group travelled through the Holy Land and lifted the name of Jesus.
200 People on a Hillside in Jerusalem Hear the Good News
Additionally, along the journey, Jenny Weaver preached to 200 people on a hillside in Jerusalem. She had no microphone, but everyone attentively listened to receive the Good News.
“Preaching to 200 with no mic in an open field and God carried the message cause everyone heard,” Jenny wrote on the video.

“And so today, when we lift up worship, I believe it’s going to send a ripple effect to the whole city. We decree and declare here in Jerusalem that Jesus the Christ is Lord, and beside Him, there is no other God. Let all the idols come down. Because Jesus be the head. He is the head of the church. He is the Christ, He is the Savior, He is the Messiah. You don’t have to look any further, Jerusalem. Jesus is the way,” Jenny preached while everyone was listening.
Preaching Where Jesus Preached to 200 People on a Hillside in Jerusalem
Jenny Weaver founded the Core Group movement. She is a wife and mother who “believes in building families and communities in the Kingdom of God.”
She shared on her webstie, “My heart is to see God’s people walking in their full calling and set free, whole and healed.” She and her husband, Stephen, lead the Core Group together.
In the video Jenny uploaded on Instagram, she wrote, “Such a humbling experience I honestly can’t even put into words how amazing it’s been to have preached in multiple places where my Savior Jesus preached.”

The Great Commission
It’s inspiring to see people from all walks of life obeying the Great Commission . Especially in Israel, where Jesus lived and walked.
Before Jesus’ death and resurrection, He commissioned His disciples:
“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed” (Mark 16:15-18, NLT).
And now, many are answering the call.
