In a viral video shared on Facebook, a Muslim woman experienced the love of Jesus and left Islam.
After becoming friends with two Christians at graduate school, she agreed to go on a journey to discover what Truth was. They would regularly meet up and exchange points of why the other person’s faith was incorrect, reading both the Bible and the Quran. Secretly, she desired to convert her friend to Islam. As a Muslim living in America, she was accustomed to defending her beliefs, and used to winning in arguments.
But after feeling that she had won, she began to experience mental torment. She prayed, fasted, crying out night and day to Allah, to show people that he was the truth. She also began to read the bible.
“I was reading it [the bible] as if it actually really happened” the woman remarks.
After speaking on the phone with a friend who was Christian, she was encouraged to simply ask Jesus into her heart.
Left Islam for Jesus, no turning back
“Little did she know, as a Muslim, if you ask Jesus into your heart…it’s hell for eternity. You can’t come back from that,” she said. “Whoever you are, I want to give my life to you. If you’re Jesus, you can come into my heart!”
She woke the next morning with zero torment left in her mind. Attending church that week, she responded to an altar call.
“It’s taking me more faith to not believe in Jesus than to believe in him,” she remarks while sharing the testimony.
“He is my first experience of love.”
