In a recent Instagram post, Dawit shared his testimony about how Jesus set him free.
“Many people have been asking me to share my testimony, so here’s a quick look into my life before I came to Christ in March of 2020.
“No amount of rehab, meditation, yoga, or self help books can bring this type of lasting transformation, peace, and fulfillment. Only through faith in the one true God, Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit can a person be saved and transformed into a new creation (2 Cor 5:17).
“No sin you’ve committed is beyond God’s forgiveness. He’s waiting to embrace you with open arms. Give your life to Jesus today and receive the free gift of everlasting life. It’ll be the best decision you’ll ever make, I guarantee it.
“All the glory belongs to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Now and forever!” Dawit wrote in a caption.
Continued Preaching After Being Trashed By A Stranger

In the video shown below, Dawit was preaching about how Jesus can make you new when, all of a sudden, he was splashed by soda and then cups were thrown at him. Despite this, he continued preaching after being bullied by a stranger.
He preached, “Blessed are you when you are mocked and persecuted for my name’s sake.” Jesus said, “Blessed are you; rejoice exceedingly, for great is your reward in heaven.”
Loving the Unlovable
Dawit wrote in the caption of the video, “True love, the love which can only come from God prevails over the “love” that is in those of this world. They profess love with their lips, but love is displayed by our actions. We will not be shaken. Jesus will be glorified!”
He then quoted these verses in the Bible:
“My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18, NKJV).
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law” (Galatians 5:22–23, NKJV).
