Be clothed in Christ and become a living testimony of His grace and love, shining His light in a world desperate for hope.
Today’s Bible Verse
“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24

Encouragement
Embracing the transformative power of Christ is not just about changing your external behavior, but also about experiencing a complete renewal in your mind and heart. In Ephesians 4:22-24, the Apostle Paul encourages believers to “put off our old selves” and “put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” This passage speaks of a beautiful process of becoming more like our Savior, Jesus Christ.
A Renewed Mindset: As you surrender your life to Jesus, He graciously renews your minds. The old patterns of thinking, the negative self-talk, and the doubts are washed away in the refreshing stream of His truth. In Christ, you are empowered to think with a new perspective, one that aligns with God’s Word and His promises. Renewing your mind is a daily practice, sometimes easier said than done. Remember that God will give you the grace to continually surrender your thoughts and renew your mind.
Clothed in Christ: Just as you change your clothes to reflect your identity and purpose, putting on the “new self” means clothing yourself in the righteousness and holiness of Christ. You become a living testimony of His grace and love, shining His light in a world desperate for hope.
Embracing the Journey: As we grow in Christlikeness, embrace the journey with patience and perseverance. There will be times of challenge and moments when you stumble, but remember that God’s mercy and love are ever-present to pick you up and set you back on the path of righteousness.
Fix your gaze on Christ, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Allow His Spirit to shape your thoughts, your words, and your actions. When you stumble, remember that His grace is sufficient, and His love is unending. Trust that as you draw near to Him, He will continue to mold you into a reflection of His glory.
