Instagram influencer Ciera Nichole says “If you don’t always feel like reading your Bible, you aren’t alone. BUT our feelings cannot keep us from doing what we were created to do, Bless The Lord!”

Ciera Nichole talked about the real struggle for Christians in her recent Instagram post. In the video, she talked about a Christian’s daily devotion to God. Most of us have experienced moments when we don’t feel like worshiping God. Days when our emotions are too overwhelming, days when we have a tough time at school or work, and days when our relationships our failing. It’s during these days when we have to command our soul to bless the Lord.
“Sometimes we assume Christians wake up and they’re like, ‘Good morning Lord, I am here to read the Word,’ it’s not always like that… Scripture literally tells us, ‘I will command my soul to bless the Lord.’ Sometimes, you really have to command yourself,” Ciera said.

She then testified how making a habit of daily devotions transformed her into the woman she is right now. The Christian Instagram influencer also emphasized that the presence of Jesus Christ is the answer to all our questions.
“The desire begins to burn in me now because I worked this muscle so much that it became a muscle memory. I wake up in the morning and my spirit is longing for the Word… Prayer, getting in the Word, and just spending time with God, it’s the answer to everything.”
Be that kind of Christian who can’t go on their day without seeking first His Kingdom. Be that kind of Christian who is always hungry and thirsty for the Word of God.
