Christiana Raney took to TikTok to share a very powerful and precious moment they had with their three children. It was a Sunday and they had just gotten out of church. The very first thing that their six-year-old son, Nathan, did was pray over his little sisters.
“Our 6-year-old was given anointing oil at church this morning. He couldn’t wait to anoint and pray over his sisters and his momma and daddy,” Christiana wrote in the video she uploaded.

Nathan prays over his sisters
That morning, Nathan had been anointed with oil during church. Upon getting into the car, he immediately approached his sister Savannah, anointed her with oil, and prayed over her. After he was done praying for her, he then proceeded to pray over his little sister Amy. The sweet toddler then thanked her big brother for it.
Christiana recorded the sweet moment and shared it social media to inspire others.
“It was such a beautiful moment and we were so proud of him. He loves the Lord so much. It feels like we’re doing something right as parents.”
Nathan was able to do what he has done because it has been a daily practice in their household to pray over each other. The family always starts their day by laying their hands on each other and praying.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” -Proverbs 22:6
