A Filipino Christian celebrity led thousands of audience members to powerful worship during her own concert.

Celestine Gonzaga-Soriano, popularly known as Toni Gonzaga, is a Filipino singer, host, actress, producer, and vlogger. She started her career in the entertainment industry as a teenager and has achieved much success since then. Toni has also been known as an outspoken Christian.

On January 20, Toni celebrated her 20th year anniversary in the entertainment industry as well as her 39th birthday. She celebrated that day with thousands of her fans in Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila during her “I Am Toni” concert. During one of her numbers, she led her audience into worship.

Toni sang the popular worship song “What A Beautiful Name” by Hillsong as she lifted her hands and bowed her head in worship. Watch a song clip from her concert and see how she powerfully worshiped God.

During her interviews with different media outlets, she often talks about her faith in God. In a gathering of worship leaders in 2019, she testified about her life journey as a Christian. Toni also talked about how powerful the love of Jesus is for her.

“Sometimes it’s just all we need to know, that Jesus is love, that Jesus loves us, Jesus loves me… I always go back to that core, that no matter what I’m going through in life, no matter who left me, who hurt me, who rejected me, I know I am accepted, I am loved, I am valued because Jesus loves me,” she said during the conference.

Christian Celebrity Talks About His Heart Attack And Kidney Cancer – Declaring ‘God Is Good’

Christian Celebrity in the Philippines, Gary V shares about his battle to overcome a heart attack and kidney cancer and declares the message: “God is good!”

Edgardo Jose Santiago Valenciano, popularly known as Gary V, is a multi-award winning Filipino-Puerto Rican singer-songwriter. He has always been open about his Christian faith even before this whole ordeal happened. Recently, Gary shared his testimony that will inspire anyone believing God for healing.

In May 2018, Gary underwent emergency open heart surgery to remove a blockage in one of his arteries. The blockage occured after a dance performance with his son on a television show. The surgery went well but shortly after, doctors discovered he also had kidney cancer. A few weeks later, he underwent another surgery to remove the growth in his kidney.

“Last year I was given a life-changing diagnosis of cancer in my right kidney. This was revealed to me as I was healing from a bypass procedure. A few weeks later, on June 13, 2018, I underwent surgery to remove the cancer from my kidney,” Gary said.

Prior to his heart attack, Gary also has another health problem that he had battling with for decades, diabetes. This of course made his condition even more delicate but with God, nothing is impossible!

Cancer free

Today, Gary is now cancer free! He posted the following video on Twitter in celebration of God’s goodness…

“I’m still in awe at how God kept me in the palm of Jesus’ hands through it all. You know my friend? There really is no safer place to be than in His hands. I’m still here. And He has been as faithful as ever. Indeed there is absolutely nothing impossible with God,” he shared.

He ends the video by declaring how good God is and how powerful our prayers are!

“Those prayers have once again have been answered because today after seeing the results of my annual checkup … I am cancer free. God is good,” Gary added.

Hulk Hogan Proclaims His Faith In Jesus

Terry Bollea, popularly know as Hulk Hogan is an American retired professional wrestler. He is regarded by many as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time and its great to see how open he is about his faith in Jesus Christ.

In the interview video below, Hulk Hogan states that eternal treasures are much more important than anything else. “The only thing that is really real is the stuff that’s gonna last forever – your faith and belief in God,” he says.

Hearing a statement like this from a man who has known worldwide acclaim is encouraging. Especially as many people who are in the limelight often forget to acknowledge God and His goodness. But what Hulk Hogan proves is that if Christ is in you, you can’t stop sharing His love and grace.

“Knowing that once you’ve accepted Christ as your savior, you gonna have everlasting life and that belief is pretty much the only thing that is real” he said.

Indeed, Jesus Christ alone can give us the satisfaction we need. His gift of eternal life is the most wonderful gift anyone could ever receive.

Although he gave his life to God at 14, Terry Bolea’s life as Hulk Hogan has not been without controversy, lawsuits and heartache. At one time he was ousted by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) but has since been reinstated to their hall of fame. He went through a very difficult time during a divorce and considered committing suicide. However his faith brought him through.

“I’ve leaned on my religion. I was saved when I was 14. I accepted Christ as my savior. He died on the Cross and paid for my sins,” he says. “I could have went the wrong way. I could have self-destructed, but I took the high road”.

^“But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God,the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:22-23)
