In a recent YouTube video, a Christian YouTuber discusses how actor Chris Pratt shares his faith online and during public speeches.
Pratt, with over 42 million Instagram followers, has huge influence in pop culture today.
“Chris Pratt is probably the biggest actor in Hollywood, but did you know that he has actually heard God’s voice? And that he has felt His presence?” Shawn Bolz asks in a reel uploaded to social media platforms on Saturday.
On Instagram, Pratt recently shared an encounter he had with God while on a run:
“I woke up today and felt pretty crappy,” Pratt says in the clip. “I knew that, if I put on my Christian music playlist and I got out in the woods and I ran then I’d feel better. But I just didn’t want to. I did it anyways.”
“Gosh I was right. I felt amazing. I got out in the woods got my blood pumping, and God is like, ‘whoosh.’ Sat down there right next to me. I actually don’t get emotional that often, but I actually got emotional, out in the woods. I was out on this run and I just felt like there was another in the fire standing next to me.”

This is profound that he’s using his platform, especially on Instagram, to share these kinds of things.
