Hollywood actor Nathaniel Buzolic shared a powerful Biblical message on man’s rebellion to his millions of followers: “A love of God is the ultimate key to obedience.”
Mountain Of Blessing And Curse
In a recent Instagram post by the former ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star, Nathaniel shared a photo of Mount Gerizim. In the caption, the actor wrote how it’s called “the mountain of blessings.” He then explained its history, referencing the Scripture in Joshua 8 “when Joshua entered the land.”

According to the Biblical account, God instructed Joshua to pronounce a blessing to Israel on Mount Gerizim. Meanwhile, “on Mount Ebal the curses (Deuteronomy 11:29 NIV).”
The former was given if the Israelites would keep God’s commandments and follow His Word. While the latter, if they choose to turn their backs on God and be disobedient with God’s ways and words.
Man’s Rebellion
“G-d was clear and precise,” Nathaniel explained. “There is no confusion about potential outcomes. The only mystery that remains is why man enjoys rebellion so deeply even when he knows what the end result will be if he does so.”

With that said, the actor advised his followers to “choose wisely.” And that “the wisest of them all are those who listen and learn.”
He encouraged his millions of followers to choose to follow God because that is what Jesus also commanded His disciples.
“A Love of G-d is the ultimate key to obedience,” he concluded. “And a lack of love is what leads to rebellion.”
Also, in a previous post, Nathaniel shared about the seriousness of sin and the salvation Jesus offers to humanity. He discussed Jesus’ real reason why He came to earth.
He wrote, “Jesus says this to his disciples – ‘let’s go somewhere else, to the neighboring towns, so that I MAY PROCLAIM THE MESSAGE THERE ALSO, (here it is) THIS IS WHY I CAME FOR. The more famous Jesus became for healing the less people wanted to hear about the actual Good news of the kingdom of God that Jesus had came to proclaim.”
