Becky Murray testified about the powerful miracle that her dying husband received from God.
Dying Husband
Becky Murray, the founder and CEO of One by One, shared a powerful testimony that reminds people about God’s protection and miracle healing. In September 2014, she and her husband, Matthew, went on a mission trip to Kenya. A few days after they returned home to America, Becky’s husband became ill. “At first, it just looked like a cough or the flu of some sort. And so, we didn’t think much of it, but as time started passing by, it began becoming increasingly worse,” she recalled. On the 2nd day of October 2014, she took Matthew to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with malaria.
“I was thankful. I was breathing a sigh of relief that this is just malaria… and so I remember saying somehow, ‘Oh you’ll be fine a couple of days on IV, anti-malarial medications and you’ll be good to go,'” she said. But sadly, Becky’s assumption was exactly the opposite. Two days after she dropped her husband in the hospital, his life was hanging in the balance. The doctors informed her that 50% of Matthew’s blood was filled with the malaria parasite.
“She [the doctor] began to tell me how they suspected Matt had maybe two, maybe three hours left to live,” Becky shared. At that moment, she felt that every dream and promise was shattered on the ground. She was so devastated not until God performed a miracle.

Miracle Healing
After the painful news that Becky received from the doctor, she tried to compose herself. She posted the news on social media and asked people to pray for her husband. Then, she put down her phone and walked out of her room. Suddenly, a nurse walked up to her with a huge smile.
The nurses had already taken another set of labs on her husband. The results showed that the malaria level had dropped from 50% to 10%. “I remember knowing in that moment that God had done a phenomenal and powerful miracle…In that moment when medicine failed, God came through in the most remarkable of ways,” Becky testified.
Moreover, a nurse in the ICU who witnessed the miracle and decided to give her life to Jesus. “She’d [the nurse] seen firsthand medicine didn’t do this. God did this, and so she gave her heart to Christ,” she said.
Indeed, God’s grace and power is always unfailing.
