Former Baseball player idolized the sport until he met Jesus and discovered his true identity.
Former Baseball Player
Casey Mulholland loved baseball even as a child. He dreamed of walking into a stadium and throwing a pitch in the big leagues. “I’d go to school at 7am, and I’d leave at 9pm, and my whole day was wrapped up in me playing, training, learning how to train my mind to, you know, perform optimally,” he shared. During his senior year, he was in an accident that led him to discover Jesus. As he threw a pitch, his Ulnar Collateral Ligament (UCL) tore. Because of the injury, he had to spend a year in rehab. That’s when he realized that his identity was rooted in playing baseball.
Casey recalled, “I was left sitting at home contemplating to myself. You know, who, who am I? My identity was wrapped up in baseball, and it’s who I was. I didn’t see anything else in my life that I could do.” From then on, Casey began to discover his true identity.

Relationship with Jesus
He started going to church and spent time with his youth group. His parents also encouraged him to put Jesus first. “I didn’t have to walk through losing Christ. I just had to, you know, devote the time, the energy into seeking him,” Casey said.
Moreover, he was able to achieve his dream. But this time, his focus was not just on playing baseball but on sharing God’s love.
With his talents and skills, Casey served his community and lived for God. “My life has been forever changed. Now listening to Christ and, and hearing his messages not just for baseball but for my life completely,” he testified.
