‘We Keep Lingering In The Presence Of God’ Says Worship Leader Following Asbury Revival

Following the asbury revival, hungry hearts across the nation were left wondering…now what do we do? Lindy Cofer shared a powerful video clip on instagram from the service.

“You will never ever be the same. You’ll never again be able to live a merely selfish life, because you encountered Christ. You just can’t believe it, how beautiful God is. How sufficient He is. How He’s everything your heart has longer for.” the speaker begins, “He’s telling us right now, to turn our eyes off Asbury and turn your eyes to your city, to your campus, to your lost friends, to your family, and to every tounge, people, tribe and nation. And God is changing you and making you aware of His completely sufficient presence. Because He’s calling you to go.”

Reflecting on the clip, Cofer recounts her experience hearing the words in person:

“Having been at Asbury and hearing these words in person, I can say without a doubt they cut through the room. It was an honor to be in room a witness what God was doing. But now what?”

Hungry hearts pursue Jesus following Asbury Revival

“Now… we keep going. We thank Jesus for all He is doing. We keep praying. We keep worshipping. We keep yielding to the Holy Spirit. We keep discipling. We keep reading the word. We keep lingering in the presence of God. We keep sharing the gospel. We keep loving. We keep gathering. We continue to let God use this as a catalyst to resurface and reawaken hunger. We let our faith rise for what is possible. We continue to make space for Him to move. We continue to stand in awe of God. We keep going.

God Reveals Vivid Vision Of Revival Beginning At Asbury ‘To Wake Us All Up’

God revealed a vivid vision of revival beginning at Asbury to wake up His church. The pastor remarked, “now it’s time for the Church to follow suit.”

Powerful Intercession

In an Instagram post shared by David Ryan Cook, a group of Christians experienced powerful encounters with the Lord. Apparently, Pastor Rachelle felt led by the Lord to pray. So, she invited believers to gather on Saturday night, wherein “around 100 people showed up.”

According to David, the prayer started at seven in the evening and continued until 2:30 in the morning.

“Fresh tongues came and intercession began…the glory of God fell upon the room,” he reported.

Prostrate On The Ground

David also described how Pastor Rachelle asked everyone to remain “prostrate on the ground as a sign of reverence to allow the Lord to continue to move.” Then he had a vivid vision where he saw wells of revival for every region of the nation.

“They were dry, but I started to see water slowly fill them,” David narrated. “I heard a voice say—it’s the tears of the saints. They represented a love for the Lord and a love for the lost.”

ANOTHER CAMPUS REVIVAL BREAKS OUT AT CEDARVILLE UNIVERSITY

“And all at once, I heard a loud noise and began to see another stream of water start to rush into the wells and join the tears,” he continued.” “It was the living water of God, from the river that flows from the city and throne of God.”

Vivid Vision Of Revival

David remarked that the tears of His saints had moved God.

“Because of the purity and holiness that was in the tears of the saints,” he explained. “It moved the heart of God and stirred the River of God. Which opened up the floodgates of Heaven to complete the re-filling of the ancient revival wells in the land.”

The Christian recalled experiencing the “weighty” glory of God that he could barely stand back up. But when he stood, “a new language of intercession” hit him. Then he felt the burden to pray and “cry out for the nation and the Bride of Christ.”

David concluded, “Intimacy should always lead to intercession. God used Asbury to wake us all up, and now it’s time for the church to follow suit. We say yes. Let it be so, Lord.”

Multitudes Of Revival Across The Globe Shared On Social Media

A recent social media post displaying the multitudes of revival happening across the globe went viral. Shared last week, Instagram user @_kmarieg_ showed clips all across the United States, Africa, and Israel of groups of believers worshipping, praying, and dancing before the Lord.

Videos from Asbury, Samford, and Lee University showed college students repenting in worship.

“I had goosebumps making this, YALL it’s just getting started! REVIVAL AROUND THE WORLD!” Kayla G wrote in her instagram caption.

“You might not turn on the news to see it, but there’s a big movement happening around the world, in the hearts of God’s people.”

Multitudes of revival occur across the earth

The post gained over 200,000 likes and hundreds of comments of people reporting their own experiences in the last week. One used detailed what happened to her: “In Kenya I attended a 1 week revival meeting last week. And on Friday, more than a thousand people gave their lives to Christ. They couldn’t fit at the altar.”

Continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would touch, convict, comfort, and revitalize God’s people across the earth. God is already moving and we have the priviledge to parter with what He is releasing across the globe today.

“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:9)

A young boy stood in front of the chapel during an Asbury revival service and read God’s Word to the crowd: “In the last days, God says..”

Young Boy Declares God’s Word In Last Days

Christian author and God Encounters Ministries’ founder, James Goll, shared his experience from the Asbury Revival. He recorded a short video inside the Hughes auditorium and posted it on Instagram.

Apparently, a young boy stood in front of the crowd during one of the chapel services. Then, with an adult’s help, he read and declared God’s Word to the people from Acts 2:16-18.

The boy read out loud, “No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”

Honoring God’s Written Word

In the post, the 70-year-old Christian author shared his insight about what God has been doing at Asbury. He commended how the revival meetings deeply honor “the Authority of God’s written Word.”

“Every meeting includes the simple application of a line of people who recite a Bible verse. Followed the Leader who states, ‘This is God’s Word,'” he narrated. “All of the attendees follow by declaring, “We believe it!” There is no additives of something like, “This is what this verse means to me.” Or “I was inspired by a dream to bring you this verse of Scripture” (which would be fine). They let the Word of God stand alone!”

He also said that he has never in his “entire life time ever seen this application.” That’s why it truly amazed him.

In another post, he also described that the Asbury Revival “is one of the purest moves of the Holy Spirit” he had witnessed in his lifetime.

58-Year-Old Raised In Church Says He’s Never Experienced Worship Like Asbury Revival Worship

The Asbury Revival worship continues as believers cry out in confession and glorification to God.

“The differences in theology did not interfere with the glory of God that has settled over that place.” Jeff Leslie wrote on a Facebook post.

Leslie, like others, came to attend what started as a routine chapel service–but hasn’t stopped for 8 days.

“I’m 58 years old and I was raised in church from birth. But I’ve never experienced worship like I did today. It was pure, organic worship without any additives, preservatives, or artificial colors. It was non-GMO worship with no purpose other than to glorify God.”

Asbury Revival worship stirring up the glory of God

“When we stepped inside the auditorium and found our seats I had the overwhelming sense to cry. They were having a time of confession. People were willingly standing to confess their struggles before the people. The crowd would respond “the blood of Jesus covers sin.” It was truly a witness of the scripture to confess your faults one to another that you may be healed! Tears were flowing at this point as I watched people be vulnerable under conviction of the Holy Spirit and desiring victory.”

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

We could not help but remember this verse in 1 John while reading Leslie’s post. Join us in praying for mass confession and repentance across the United States!

People Continue To Swarm At The Asbury Campus Despite The Rain

Testimonies of people who witnessed the Asbury revival are flooding in. And despite the rain, many are still willing to wait in line.

Despite the Rain

Paige Berryman was among the thousands of people who went to the Asbury campus to witness firsthand how God moved in a mighty way. He moved so powerfully that people continued to come, and no one seemed willing to go.

In her recent Instagram post, Paige shared that they “waited outside in line for over an hour last night.”

While they were waiting, they met people from different and faraway places. Some came from Lexington and Chicago, and a few even came from Texas and Nevada.

“Some still had their carry-on suitcase with them and some were sore from driving 10 hours straight to be there,” Paige wrote.

The Asbury workers let them know that it would possibly rain. But knowing they’d come a long way and were hungry for God’s manifest presence, they couldn’t care less.

Many people have come so far to not miss what God was, and still is, doing at the Asbury campus. In her own words, Paige said, “They had come this far. Rain or not, they were wanting to be at ground zero of revival. And so did we.”

“This is What Heaven Will Be Like”

She added that no one around them left the line.

“As we stood there talking and worshiping along with the livestream in the lawn, the expectancy and excitement was contagious and all I could think was– THIS is what heaven will be like. People from different walks of life, different ages, different backgrounds, different convictions but THE SAME GOD!

Everyone coming together with the same purpose of just meeting Jesus there!

No religious affiliation and no specific church or pastor that could take credit for “starting revival!” Our one desire was just to be in the presence of our Savior! No agenda, no schedule, no words on a screen to make sure people sing, no passing the bucket offerings to make sure we have enough money to continue.

No hype, no fancy sermon… just Jesus. And that’s all we need. I pray this is a new normal. Unity, expectancy. And just Jesus.”

When God moves, indeed, no one can ever restrain it. It is our prayer that this kind of encounter and revival reach you, too.

Could Bob Jones’ prophecy be starting to unfold as the Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl, and all the while, revival is breaking out amongst the college students at Asbury College?

Prophecy Of Bob Jones Is Happening

In 2020, GOD TV reported about Bob Jones’ prophecy on the Kansas City Chiefs. Their 2020 super bowl win made headlines as it was a historical moment for the Chiefs as it had been 50 long years since their last championship. What’s more, the prophecy said it would be a sign of a revival coming to America.

Shawn Bolz, shared in a Facebook post, “Bob Jones had heard from God that the chiefs would go to the Super Bowl and win it. He shared that when they won it would be a sign of upcoming and end time revival.”

It was an unforgettable and hopeful moment for both the Chiefs and the believers of Christ. And today, the KC Chiefs made the history books again as they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35, according to BBC. What’s interesting is that this time revival is happening at Asbury College. Many Christians are posting about the prophecy again believing that these events are connected.

Revival Sweeps Asbury Campus

In a Facebook post by Pastor Vlad Savchuk, he shared in detail about the revival happening on the Asbury campus. Apparently, “a chapel service started on Wednesday” at ten in the morning “with 1,600 students.” Since then, it “has not stopped” and is still continuing today.

“Revival has reportedly broken out at Asbury University, a small evangelical college in Kentucky,” he wrote. “Attracting hundreds of people to join for 24/7 prayer and worship, according to reports from students and staff.”

Furthermore, Pastor Vlad revealed that a revival also broke out on the campus “50 years ago in February 1970.”

“After the dean invited students to share testimonies at the chapel service, students continued worshipping and praying for 144 hours,” he said. “The college canceled classes for a week.”

According to the report, the revival currently taking place in Asbury “is different.”

“It’s not focused on big speaker, famous band, or lights,” the pastor wrote. “But on repentance, testimonies, the manifest presence of God.”
