A powerful testimony about a woman who suffered from stuttering for 13 years was shared recently by Pastor David Diga Hernandez.
Jesus Heals
The life and ministry of Jesus were about healing miracles that encouraged His followers to do the same. Jesus showed His compassion through those miracles, like how He opened a deaf man’s ear.
“There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him. After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened, and he began to speak plainly” (Mark 7:31–35).
Stuttering For 13 Years
Jesus healed a crippled woman, too. “One Sabbath, Jesus was teaching in a synagogue, and a woman was there who had been crippled by an evil spirit for 18 years. She was completely bent over and could not straighten up. When Jesus saw the woman, he called her over and said, “You are now well.” He placed his hands on her, and at once she stood up straight and praised God (Luke 13:10–13).

Time and again, God never fails to remind His people that He heals!
One recent testimony proved this. As an act of faith, Pastor David Diga Hernandez prayed for a woman who had suffered from stuttering for 13 years. She couldn’t even say her name without stuttering!
Woman Healed From Stuttering For 13 Years
“Last night, she was stuttering. How long have you dealt with that?” the pastor asked.
“I have been stuttering since I was ten years old,” she replied.
This miracle moved the pastor. He asked again, “You have been stuttering since you were ten years old. And what happened when Jesus healed you?”
“As soon as Jesus healed me, I felt my tongue being loose. I’ve been stuttering for the past 13 years. The devil attacked my speech so that I could no longer speak. My name is Leticia, and I say that because I could never say my name,” she said.
But now, not only can Leticia say her name, but she also declares, “Jesus is Lord. Jesus is my healer.”
