A woman who had been living a life of sin experienced a profound encounter with God’s love. Through His powerful intervention, her life became a vessel used to reach and rescue exploited and at-risk children.
A Woman Who Was Living In Sin
The founder of Life Impact International, Lana Vasquez, shared a powerful testimony of how God transformed her life. She began by revealing her dark past, describing how her parents divorced when she was just 14 years old. Subsequently, her life spiraled downwards, leading her into drugs, alcohol, and working as a dancer in Hollywood clubs.
Amidst the hardships and despair, Lana reached a breaking point where she wrote a desperate letter to God saying, “God, if you’re real, why am I living this kind of a hell of life? If you’re such a good God, why is my life not good?” She confessed that she had lost all concern for hell, as she felt like she was already living in it. However, her despair was short-lived, as God intervened and brought beauty into her life.
At the age of 19, Lana’s aunt, who had become a Christian, invited her to church. As she stepped inside, she encountered a feeling unlike anything she had experienced before. At that moment, she uttered a heartfelt prayer, “God, I’m in a million pieces. If you can do anything, these million pieces are yours.” With hands outstretched, she gave Him control over the shattered fragments of her existence.

Exploited And At-Risk Children
Suddenly, she experienced an overwhelming sensation as if warm honey was flowing from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. Wherever this honey-like warmth touched, it brought cleansing and restoration, making her feel whole once more. It was a feeling she hadn’t experienced since she was a little girl.
“I couldn’t stop smiling. I couldn’t stop crying,” she recalled.
Moments later, she heard her aunt affirm that it was Jesus who touched her. In addition, God swiftly began a transformative work in her life. In less than a year, she found herself involved in a children’s ministry, already actively serving in that capacity. Also, she heard the Lord speak to her, “You will reach and rescue and raise up a generation to know me. And that generation will make me known to their own nations.” Indeed, God fulfilled what He said.
At present, Lana runs a ministry called Life Impact International. Their motto is, “Change a life, change a world.” They firmly believe in the profound potential of a single life to impact and change the lives of others, ultimately leading to a transformational change in the world. With this conviction, she dedicated herself to making a significant difference in the lives of exploited and at-risk children.
