A 17-year-old teen girl from Greensboro is using her TikTok to share her faith in Jesus. And she goes viral with millions of views.

Teen Girl Goes Viral On TikTok

Genna Coble is a daughter of a Pentecostal preacher in Greensboro. She has over 100,000 thousand followers on TikTok and over three million likes. The teen has caught the attention of many as she uses the platform to share her faith in Jesus and spread joy to the people.

The 17-year-old creates hilarious content about church and faith, which makes her followers laugh. But unbeknown to many, the teen suffered from bullying during middle school.

“My 6th grade year was the worst year for me,” Genna recalled in an interview with WFMY News 2. “I mean, it was like hell, honestly. Multiple days I remember getting in the car slamming the door crying, you know, and it was honestly just a mess.”

Janie Coble’s mom also recounted that dark moment in her daughter’s life.

“Kids can be as mean as adults can,” the mom said. “And that’s what I learned when she was in 6th grade. Kids can be just as mean.”

Overcomer

The mom initially didn’t want her daughter to shoot TikTok videos. But later, she realized the good thing it did for the teen girl.

“No pictures of my daughter, but then I realized she’s becoming her person, so get it out there,” Janie said. “She’s getting famous on us right now. I see where she is now and how she has overcome the worst; she’s doing tremendously well!”

Although she’s got hundreds of thousands of followers, Genna doesn’t consider herself famous.

“I’m the TikTok church girl,” the teen girl said. “I love doing the church fit. It’s the church outfit! It’s what I like to dress up in on Sunday, and sometimes I’ll add little phrases after that. And I always end it with a Hallelujah. That’s my catchphrase.”

“I love to feel the presence of the Lord. I love screaming; I love dancing; I love shouting, you know, sometimes even running,” the teen added.

Responding To Critics

And although she’s got many fans, she’s also got many critics on TikTok.

“A few people have recognized me in a few places, people want to take pictures, and I love that. But I also get a lot of hate,” Genna revealed. “They don’t like my voice because I get so excited and happy in my videos, and I start yelling. Some of them think that because I’m a woman, I shouldn’t preach.”

“Some make fun of me because of my glasses and prescription, but I don’t care. I’ve gotten to the point where I used to care about what people say, but I don’t care anymore.”

Genna learned her lesson during middle school and will no longer respond to haters in the same way. Instead, she is leaning toward her faith in God despite it.

“I guess you can call me the crazy Pentecostal because I’m full of joy and happiness because I feel that’s what God is,” she explained.

“Christians don’t always have to be serious. They can be fun too, and we can be fun. One hate comment isn’t going to bother me. Hallelujah!!”

17-Year-Old Worship Leader Brings America’s Got Talent To Church With Her Performance

A 17-year-old worship leader from the Dominican Republic, who won Dominicana’s Got Talent in 2021, brought America’s Got Talent: All-Stars to church with her worshipful performance.

Dominicana’s Got Talent 2021 Winner Sings ‘Rescue’

After winning Dominicana’s Got Talent in 2021, Keren Montero was invited to participate in America’s Got Talent: All-Stars this year. In her country, the singer is a celebrity. She has appeared on several TV shows and commercials in her nation and even sang in front of the President.

Today, as the 17-year-old performed in front of America’s Got Talent judges and crowd, she brought everyone to church. She sang Lauren Daigle’s “Rescue” in a worshipful performance.

The AGT audience applauded her with a standing ovation at the end of her performance.

“I think you gave yourself a real shot just then in this competition,” judge Heidi Klum commented on the teen. “You have such a powerful and beautiful voice. You sound amazing.”

Judge Howie Mandel also commended her voice. Meanwhile, judge Simon Cowell shared an honest critique of her performance. He told the singer, “when you come on a show like this or anything, you’ve got to find a song. And you’ve got to turn it into your unique version. I liked it, but I think sometimes you’ve got to do something no one’s ever done before.”

Worship Leader In Her Country

Keren’s Instagram bio reads, “Worshiper of Christ. Singer. I owe everything to God.”

Apparently, Keren is more than just a celebrity in her country. She is also a worship leader in her local church. The teen led the congregation to worship in one of her Instagram videos. And in the post, she wrote, “When the glory of God floods you, your life is never the same again. And by opening your heart, that darkness becomes that light that illuminates everything around you.”

Also, in another video clip, Keren exhorted the congregation while leading worship. She wrote, “We cannot live without His Presence.”

Deadly Shark Attack Towards 17-Year-Old

Addison Bethea is a 17-year-old Christian who has an active lifestyle playing tennis sport and cheerleading. But that life was challenged after she met a terrifying incident.

One day in Keaton Beach in Florida, Addison tried to search for scallops in the area. Then all of a sudden, a deadly shark attacked and bit her. The teen knew that the shark would back off if she punched its nose. But at that moment, she felt helpless and defenseless. Thankfully, her brother, Rhett Willingham, witnessed the attack and immediately took action. He rescued her from the deadly attack and placed Addison in a nearby boat.

Since Rhett is a trained firefighter and EMT, he was able to perform first-aid to his sister before the paramedics arrived. Responders then airlifted the teen to a hospital.

Clinging To Faith

Following the incident, Addison attested how her brother has always been a hero to her.

“I knew once I was in trouble, he said he would get me out,” she said. “He promised. So I expected nothing less.”

But unfortunately, the deadly shark attack caused Addison to lose one leg. According to the report, the doctors had no choice but “to amputate her leg just above her knee and make use of muscles from her lower leg to restore the use of the remaining upper leg.”

Now, the teen is recovering after the successful surgery and is clinging to her faith.

Also, Addison’s mom, Michelle Murphy, testified of God’s goodness in her daughter’s survival.

“God blessed us by allowing Addison to live, and we will never lose focus on that gift,” she remarked.

A 17-year-old boy prayed that God would give him a testimony to humble him. Two days later, he died and experienced a miracle.

Teen Collapses Amid Basketball Match

One of the most exciting moments for a teenage boy is summer. During this summer, Henderson Lentz, the teenager, decided to attend a basketball camp for his school. His mom, Jill, even came for the match and recorded his game from the stands. But the thrilling game turned sour after he suddenly collapsed.

Amid the game, the 17-year-old stopped breathing and fell to the ground. Fear and shock engulfed his mom watching her son. And she felt like “everything just shut down.”

“I screamed, loud, and I was just tormented that he was dead,” she recalled. “He didn’t collapse, he just kind of looked like he was sliding into his bench.”

Cardiac Arrest

Henderson apparently suffered from cardiac arrest. Soon after, an off-duty EMT gave the teen “CPR for about 15 minutes.” Then when the EMS arrived, he was shocked by an automated defibrillator.

As time passed by, Henderson’s body still didn’t respond to the first aid procedures. Some concerned bystanders then initiated walking his mom out of the gym to calm and comfort her. Jill must have pleaded for her son’s life as she saw him lifeless.

Praying For A Testimony

Later on, praise God, the teen began to respond and breathe again. Then as Henderson woke up, he called for his mom, and a coach led Jill back to him.

Henderson was taken to a local hospital following the incident.

“They ran all the tests that they could do and they never did find anything wrong,” the teen said. “So I’m just trusting that the Lord will keep me safe.”

Moreover, Henderson testified how he asked God to give him a miracle two days before he had a cardiac arrest.

“The Sunday before, I had actually prayed that the Lord would give me a testimony and somewhat break me and make me humble,” he revealed. “He gave me that opportunity two days later.”

Today, the 17-year-old testifies to God’s goodness and miracle for his survival in his recent health ordeal.

A 17-year-old teen sacrificed his life to save someone drowning in a lake in Sunrise, Florida. Unfortunately, both of them died in the incident, but the teen hero’s selfless act left a remarkable legacy in the hearts of many.

Mother And Teen Son Witnesses Accident 

One Tuesday, Sarah Perry was spending quality time with her son, Aden, walking their dog. It was a bonding moments as a as mother and son. They talk about many things, including the “good, bad, or ugly.” But while walking, they suddenly “saw a car hit the tree and go flying into the lake.”

In an interview with WSVN-TV, the mother narrated how her son’s response to the accident.

“Immediately we started running, my son grabbed the phone and called 911,” she recalled. “Handed me the phone, so I could actually talk to them. He took the dog from me and kept running toward where the lake was.”

Son Rescues Drowning Victim

The victim, Venkata Sai Krishnamurthy, cried out for help, still trapped in the water. Her son immediately jumped into the water. The teen tried to rescue the victim. However, he failed, and both of them died in the incident.

“I wasn’t able to jump in because I can’t swim,” Sarah said. “I saw his face, I heard his voice. It was ear-piercing. These are sounds I will never forget. Part of me died in that lake with my son.”

But despite the tragic loss, Aden’s family is still grateful to everyone who supported them. Especially for acknowledging Aden’s heroic act. And to honor his legacy, the family initiated “the Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund” and put up a GoFundMe page.

“It is our hope that this fund will allow Aden to continue being a hero. And sharing his kindness with others in need of education or help,” they wrote in the page’s description. “In lieu of or in addition to flowers, we can all share in this effort and honor Aden for his selflessness. Kind heart, academic accomplishments, tutoring/educating others, college goals, and ultimate act of courage.”
