The faith-based film “Sound Of Freedom” hit $96 Million at Box Office after being rejected by Hollywood for years.

In an interview with Fox News, “Sound of Freedom” producer, Eduardo Verastegui, shared how Hollywood has rejected the film for three years. Together with director Alejandro Gómez Monteverde, they finished the film in 2020 after eight years in the making. But they have only recently released it since it was rejected by other film distributors.
“All the experts in Hollywood told us that this is not a good film for them, that nobody would go and see this film,” Eduardo recalled. “After three years of rejection, you have two options, either you give up or you don’t give up, we choose the second one.”

Thankfully, Angel Studios took the film and released it on the fourth of July. After just a week, it hit the box office with a gross of over $96 Million worldwide! It is now on the second spot at Box Office next to “Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One.”

Box Office
Starring Jim Caviezel, the film is based on a true story of a government agent who went on a mission to save trafficked children. It is touching millions of people as it shines a light in the darkest of places.
“You know why I think this is touching so many hearts because there are millions of people praying for this film. I believe in the power of prayer.”
“Sound of Freedom” will be shown to the Congress in Washington on Tuesday. Eduardo is hoping that the film would touch their hearts and urge them to take action to eradicate child trafficking.
