“Revival isn’t hype.” These are the exact words of a young man who attended Asbury University’s revival.
Recently, GOD TV reported about the revival breaking out at Asbury University. It has spread to different campuses right at this very moment.
And now, let’s hear a testimony from a young man who witnessed it firsthand.
Young Man Hungry for Revival
Gage shared that he has been crying out for revival in his city. He gave his life to Christ a year and a half ago, but he has never seen what revival looks like.
“We’ve been learning about revival, but I’ve never seen it. I didn’t even know if it was real,” he said in an on the spot video testimony.
He said that many told them stories about the revival of college campuses across the nation. He wondered when it was going to happen on their campus as well.
“They were like, ‘You gotta ask for it.’ And I’m just sitting there like, ‘God, I’m asking'”, Gage shared.
All of a sudden, his friend, Jaden, approached him and said, “Dude, Jesus just localized Himself and just sat at His throne in a room!”

Revival isn’t hype
When they arrived, the chapel was completely silent. Gage jokingly asked, “Is this revival, God?”
But when the service started, people immediately started flooding in. There and then, he realized, “Revival isn’t hype. It is ordinary people who are hungry.”
Moments after that realization, he heard a prompting from God: “Go to the altar.”
At first, Gage was hesitant to follow, but the prompting was persistent. And when he got to the altar, he heard another prompting: “Look left.”
There, he saw a young college woman getting prayed over by an older woman. Another prompting: “Look right.” And there was a young man praying over an older man.
“Look behind you,” another prompted.

“And everyone was just raising their hands. And He said, “Gage, this is revival. It isn’t hype, it is ordinary people crying out for a move of God in your generation.” What an honor! What an honor it is to be here!” Gage exclaimed.
Revival Is Real
Gage has finally seen what a revival looks like. It’s like he found a treasure that he has been searching for all his life. And now that he has taken possession of this testimony, he has a message for his generation: “And I’m here to talk to any young person in this room. I just gave my life a year and a half ago to Christ, and it has been the greatest thing I have ever done. He is worthy. He is worthy!”
Hearing and watching this, we have hope that every generation will taste and see the goodness of God, and to witness that revival is indeed real!
