Do you feel like that you are in the midst of waiting? Well, welcome to life. This is majority of life. And I feel like that a lot of times we get in our heads that we need to be somewhere, that we are trying to get to this end goal of this dream or this job or family, marriage, and children. So many things that we feel like that we’re just awaiting and the middle of process.
And I just want to encourage you today with scripture in Isaiah, it says “Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up on wings like eagles, and they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.” Now I find that in the middle of waiting, that’s where a lot of incredible things happen. And so I just want to encourage you today. If you’re feeling like you’re waiting on something, lean into what the Lord has for you today, for you will rise up on wings like eagles, you will run and you won’t grow weary.
Waiting can feel really weary sometimes, and it can be really draining, but it’s in those moments that we get to see God move. It’s in those moments, we get to see Him come in and lift us up and we get to see Him give us strength that we don’t even know where it came from. The peace that passes all understanding. I know I’ve had those moments where I’m like, I feel peace right now and it does not make sense. I should be going crazy right now, but He does it. And He does it in the middle of waiting. I feel like that He does a beautiful thing in the middle of our process, and it can be painful and it can be unglamorous, but I promise you, those are the things that the Lord loves to move in.
So I just want to pray for you today. Lord, I just pray that you would meet people where they’re at in their waiting today, waiting on the job, the dream, the children, all of the things that might not even look possible. I just pray that you would come in today and show us who you are. Show us your face in the middle of today. And I just pray that you would show us what you’re doing inside of us in the middle of this waiting, God. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
