Preston Morris spoke about God’s perfect timing, expressing his belief that those who walk with Him would never be late.

The Senior Pastor of Pillar Church, Preston Morris, offered a powerful reminder to Christians who followed God’s call but felt like they were late. He believed there was no such thing as being late unless it involved radical disobedience.
“I don’t think a person can be late… I want to be careful with this because it’s not about numbers and things. It’s just sometimes, God puts a sand on certain things that you do,” he said.
Then he shared an example of how God moved in his life. For ten years, he refrained from engaging in social media. People in the church might have thought it was not a good idea. No church planning book might have considered his decision wise, but God revealed to him that it was not yet the right time.
“So ten years, that’s what could I have amassed more followers during that time, of course. But can it also be said that I can sit in anonymity for ten years? And then when God says now, He does what He’s done the last seven months,” he mentioned.

No Such Thing As Arriving Late
Furthermore, he emphasized, “He’s the God who is outside of time. That means there’s no such thing as arriving late if you’re walking with Him.” He also cautioned people that the enemy often used this narrative. At times, he would convince them that they were late and had missed an opportunity.
He explained, “If somebody ever hears, ‘I’m late, I’m missing my moment, I’m missing my opportunity.’ That voice that you’re hearing is not the voice of God. That’s not how God talks.” He emphasized that God would often remind those who compared themselves to others that they were in a different race and that others were not ahead of them.
Lastly, he remarked, “As long as you walk with Him, you can never be late to anything good.”
