“My daughter-girl Thando is working away and couldn’t make Thanksgiving this year,” she wrote. “So she sent me this beautiful song by CeCe Winans titled ‘Goodness of God.'”
Oprah felt blessed with the song she led her entire family to worship before they ate on Thanksgiving. Before, the family would say a blessing before the food. But today, they decided to sing out loud in worship.
The whole family sang the song’s heart-melting lyrics:
“I love You, Lord
For Your mercy never fails me
All my days, I’ve been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up
Until I lay my head
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God
And all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God”
A Blessing
Oprah then ended her post by sending a “Happy Thanksgiving” greeting to all her millions of followers. The video has now reached four million views, over 200,000 reactions, and 11,000 comments from people. Surely, it revealed the number of people blessed and encouraged by the video.
A Facebook user named Julianna Stovell commented, “This was absolutely beautiful. I love CeCe Winans singing The Goodness of God. A very uplifting and inspiring song that fills you with peace and love.”
The worship song “Goodness of God,” written by the Bethel Music team, has incredibly blessed millions worldwide. Indeed, the anointed song has truly impacted millions.
Watch and be blessed!
