New Age and crystals were what Isabela began practicing at a very young age. Recently, she testified that these things will “deceive you.”

Isabela grew up in a broken family. When Isabela was just four years old, her parents got separated.
“Four years old, my parents divorced, and I left—my single mother moved to Washington from California, where my grandparents helped my mom, me, and my sister.”
But her parents’ separation affected Isabela more than she realized.
“The absence of my father from life, the divorce, and stuff, left a hole in my heart. And it left a lot of pain and stuff. And in 2018, I was introduced to the New Age and crystals. Through that, I was seeking healing. And through those crystals, they promised healing, they promised strength,” she said.
New Age and Crystals
New age and crystal practices taught her to seek and communicate with the spiritual world. But Isabela found the real source of power when her aunt introduced her mother to the HungryGen.
HungryGen is a church in Pasco, Washington, led by Vasiliy & Lyubov Parkhotyuk. Its vision is “to bring salvation to this generation.”
When Isabela started consistently attended meetings, she met Jesus and left the New Age and crystals that she had been practicing.

“I went to the camp, and every single day through the services, I received healing and breakthroughs. It was like a beautiful prayer, and God spoke to me through one of our leaders. It was something that only He would know and something I never shared with anyone,” Isabela said.

Furthermore, Isabela testified that “it truly healed me and my heart while I was there.”
And after experiencing God, she went on to share about Him with her family as well.
“Two weeks ago, I received the Holy Spirit by praying over my whole family—my grandparents, my siblings… He spoke to me, and I looked at my grandfather, and He told me, “Go pray over him; go pray over your grandfather.” I prayed for him… I was looking around the room at my family members, and the voice just kept coming in my head. It was like, “Pray on your sister, pray on your grandmother, pray on your little brother.
“That was like a breakthrough for me, just like praying for my whole family, even if I was confused or didn’t know what to do. He just said “do it,” and you can’t ignore it.
When asked about what she could say to the young ones like her who engage in New Age and crystals, she said, “Those things are very deceiving, and the only healing or power you can receive is from the Lord. It’s only Him.”
