Darnisha and her husband were happily vacationing in Michigan, enjoying the beach and sun-kissed skin. Unbeknown to them, death was lurking in their scuba diving experience. An accident happened and Darnisha drowned in the middle of the lake. The only words she could say in her helpless state were, “Father, if this is Your Will, I’m going to trust You to take care of things.”
In surrender, she shut her eyes and her soul immediately drifted off.
Darnisha woke up in a glorious room, full of bright light and no bounds. The place was consumed by peace and she felt welcomed and home. She met a person there who asked her if she was going to stay or go back. Stunned by the question, an audible voice spoke and helped her make her decision.
Darnisha decided to come back and she miraculously survived the near-death drowning incident. God saved her from that grim accident and relentlessly poured His grace into her life.
“God does not expect that our willpower will get us through difficult circumstances. He understands that there is a process, that there are emotional things that we’ll have to walk through. That there are circumstances that we didn’t foresee. That He is still more than capable of giving us grace to be able to get on the other side. It’s about whatever is dealt to you that you are able to walk through it with love and by the grace of God. He will give you what you need in order to make it,” Darkish testifies .
