According to Christian Headlines, NASA has already decided on a team to send to travel back to the moon after some five decades. They announced on Monday “the Artemis II crew,” which is set on a “10-day mission” to the moon and back. And one of the crew members is a man of faith, astronaut Victor Glover.

Attending Online Church Service In Space
Victor Glover never hid his Christian faith while aboard the International Space Station for 168 days last year. He brought a Bible and communion cups with him so he could still attend online church service.
Then he shared with his church after he returned home that even in space, he worshiped God.

take communion every week I was in space.”
Victor also felt grateful to NASA for allowing him and giving him the freedom to express his faith even off the planet.
“That was really important to me,” he added.
Victor then read 2 Peter 1 to the church, “add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.”
“I think the world needs all of those things right now,” the astronaut explained. “The world needs all of those. We need all of those right now.”
More importantly, Victor urged Christians to keep growing their faith in God.
“No matter how long we’ve been in this,” he said. “Whether you’re a preacher, an elder or a
deacon, brand new in your faith walk, we all need to be growing.”
Further, he stressed that Jesus is the only answer to this broken world.
“We have a sin nature and we need Jesus,” he remarked. “Jesus is that bridge that spans sin
and gives us a chance of going to heaven.”
