A Muslim Woman Discovers Jesus While Seeking Truth
Her Story
Born into a Muslim family, this woman shared her testimony of finding Jesus as she embarked on a search for truth.
Growing up, her parents held leadership positions in the Mosque. During her time in graduate school, she encountered two Christians who, like her, possessed strong faith.

“But logically in my mind, we can’t both be right, we can’t both be wrong,” she explained.
Feeling challenged, she engaged her classmates in a quest to find the truth. However, deep down, her desire was to convert them to Islam.
Her classmate gifted her a Bible, while she gave him a Qur’an. They embarked on their individual research, gathering bullet points to support their respective beliefs.
“Even though I believed I had successfully demonstrated the flaws in Christianity and the truth of Islam, I didn’t find satisfaction. For the first time in my life, I wanted some sort of proof,” she expressed.

As she continued to pray to Allah, she began experiencing torment and felt like she was losing her mind.
Then, at her lowest point, she cried out to Allah.
“I said, ‘I can’t do this for one more day.’ And on that very day, I received a text message from my friend. He had been praying for me, along with his church. His pastor had even prepared bullet points from Lee Strobel’s book, “The Case for Christ,” she recalled.

She began reading the Bible again and found it to be beautiful. Excited, she called her Christian friend to share her thoughts. Her friend responded, “Why don’t you ask Jesus to come into your heart? If you’re curious and wondering, you have nothing to lose.”
However, her friend was unaware that when a Muslim asks Jesus into their heart, it is believed to lead to eternal damnation in hell, with no chance of redemption.

Despite this knowledge, she uttered a prayer: “Allah, I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what’s real. Whoever you are, though, I want to give my life to you. If you’re Jesus, you can come into my heart.”
The following morning, all the torment she had been feeling disappeared.
She attended church that Sunday and throughout the week, she noticed signs that all pointed to Jesus. During the Sunday service, the pastor spoke passionately and people around her began raising their hands in worship. Suddenly, she felt her heart yearning to worship as well.
The pastor then made an altar call, saying, “There’s someone here who wants to give their life to Jesus but doesn’t know what that means. And they’re really scared.”
In that moment, she realized, “Enough is enough. It takes more faith for me to not believe in Jesus than to believe in Him. He is my first experience with love,” she shared, and made the decision to give her life to Jesus.
