Missouri Pastor Stops Gunmen In Church By Praying For Them

A Missouri pastor stopped a gunmen who entered their church by praying for them.

Last month, four gunmen entered the All Creation Northview Holiness Family Church in Ferguson, Missouri during a service. Pastor Marquaello Futrell was preaching when they entered the hall and he immediately noticed the gun in their pockets. He knew he had to act quickly yet discreetly to keep the congregation safe.

The former police officer turned pastor alerted his church staff to lock all the doors and call the police. While they were waiting for the police, he decided to approach these men who were sitting at the back of their church hall. Pastor Marquaello kept the congregation calm while letting the gunmen know that they were onto them.

“Don’t you play with me, I still got a cop anointing and I still know what’s going on and I still know what’s about to happen. God’s about to change the plot of the enemy. Lift your voice and shout unto God for what He’s about to do,” the pastor said out loud.

Instead of confronting them, the pastor and the congregation prayed for these men. He asked each one of them permission to pray for them and they all agreed. It is seen in the video caught on camera as the gunmen bowed their heads while everybody prayed for them.

“We’re thankful that for whatever reason, the Lord let you come here… I just believe you all will never be the same again,” pastor Marquaello said to them.

Later on, they discovered that these gunmen previously robbed a convenience store before they entered the church building. Pastor Marquaello is praising the Lord for the safety of his congregation.

“This is what happens when you illegally trespass. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard. The flood will never be greater than the standard.”
