The Miss Universe 2018 Pageant just took place and Miss Philippines, Catriona Gray was crowned as the new Miss Universe. But before Miss Philippines took the crown, the former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters slayed in her final walk as Miss Universe.
Last year November 26, 2017, the 66th Miss Universe Pageant took place at The AXIS in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. We all remember Miss South Africa, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters who was crowned as Miss Universe 2017 and proudly took home the title for her beloved country.
And she was an extraordinary Miss Universe. She is greatly involved in many charitable activities, has a deep passion for empowering women as well as a vision of becoming an entrepreneur and changing the world for the better.

What’s even more surprising is that some of her Instagram posts reveal not just a strong, kind-hearted woman but a woman who truly fears God.
Today, she continues to inspire even as she passed on the crown Sunday during the 67th Miss Universe pageant that was held at Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi Province, Thailand.
94 amazing women from different countries and provinces contended to bring home the prestigious crown this year. From Top 20 down to Top 10, Top 5, and finally the Top 3.
Miss South Africa, Miss Philippines, and Miss Venezuela were hailed as the Top 3 Queens. Before finally announcing the new Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters took her final walk as Miss Universe and boldly credited her Savior Jesus Christ for all her achievements.
“First, all glory goes to my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ,” she proudly said.
The Miss Universe crown might have been passed on to another amazing woman, but Demi-Leigh will continue to wear the crown which lasts forever, “The Crown of Life” (James 1:12). The crown of which we will lay at Jesus’ feet when we see Him face to face.
To God be the Glory!
