In an episode of Standing Together with hosts Fergus Scarfe and Claire Worth, guests George and Dominica Oppon, founder and senior pastors of Topaz Ministries, emphasizes that we can pray anywhere and anytime.
Prayer is just communicating with God, it is talking and hearing the voice of God. Because God can hear our thoughts, we can also pray with our thoughts.
“Prayer is just communicating with God and sometimes our thoughts communicate with God,” Dominica highlighted. “Those who have a relationship with God, we do think things and knowing that God hears our thoughts, He knows our thoughts… so it’s just channeling those thoughts to God.”
Miracle
You can pray anytime and anywhere, even when washing the dishes or taking the shower. God is always ready and willing to hear our prayers. Prayer cultivates and shows our intimacy with our heavenly Father. Just like a dad who loves to hear his children calling his name, God also wants to hear us calling his name.
“God will meet each one of us, He knows where we are,” George said. “As long as our hearts are open. He is just yearning to hear our, just like Daddy, He wants to hear us calling, He wants us to bring our cares to Him. Rather than suffer just alone, just bring it to Him. He is ready to hear us.”
George then emphasized that our miracles are nearer to us than we thought. Our prayer can activate the miracles that God prepared for us.
“Our miracles are always just one prayer away.”
