A woman who was clinically diagnosed with multiple mental disorders encountered Jesus and received complete healing.
Multiple Mental Disorders
The co-founder of Church14, Millie Radosti shared her testimony on GOD TV. Millie came from a dysfunctional background where she experienced a lot of abuse. She grew up to believe so many lies about herself. That’s why, at a very young age, she already had suicidal thoughts. She recalled, “I thought that there was just no reason for my life anymore. And I ended up in several mental health institutions where I was diagnosed with very serious um disorders.”
Some of the disorders she struggled with were borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and eating disorder. Because of these, she took lots of medication, lived in group home and she had outpatient therapies. “I did not think I was going to ever live or be able to survive on my own again. Because I felt that I was so mentally uh I don’t know if this is the word but incapacitated like, I wasn’t functional,” she explained.
Moreover, she also felt worthless. “I prayed a prayer and I just said, ‘God if there’s a reason for my life please show me,’” she shared. True enough, God performed a miracle in her life.
Complete Healing
Millie decided to end her life and took all her medicines at once. The next day, she was in the hospital and the medical team took a blood test and did a psych evaluation on her. When they shared the results, Millie experienced a miracle. “They came back with the blood test and said, ‘Not even the regular dose of your medication that you’re on is in your bloodstream.’ And I believe that day that I had a supernatural encounter,” she testified.
Furthermore, she felt like God was showing her that she had a purpose. That’s when she realized that she needed an encounter with Jesus. “From there, I really started pursuing. I started inviting all my friends from the mental institution to the church and so a bunch of my friends were also struggling with mental illness but becoming Christians and… getting saved,” she shared.
In addition, her future husband who had just come back from the mission field at that time also said that God could heal her. So, they prayed together and she had an encounter with Jesus.
