McDonald’s teen employee received an overwhelming gift after he paid for a family’s meal of a stressed mom who forgot her wallet.

Brittany Reed, a mom of three children, gives an unexpected gift to the teen who helped her during her stressful day. After a long day at soccer practice with all her children, her stress level escalated when her 4-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter started to cry for different reasons.

To lift a bit of her burden, she decided to drive-through McDonald’s to order dinner for her family. Unfortunately, as she was paying for their meal, she discovered that she left her wallet at home. With tears in her eyes, she informed the teenage employee, Wyatt Jones, behind the cash register that she had to cancel her orders.
“I go to pay – I LEFT MY PURSE AT HOME,” Brittany wrote in a Facebook post. “Welp, now I wanted to cry. I look at the young man with tears in my eyes just from being stressed and annoyed and say ‘Hun, I am so sorry but I have to cancel that order I left my purse at home when we went to football tonight.’”

However, instead of letting the mom go, without any hesitation, Wyatt grabbed his debit card and paid for the family’s meal. Brittany tried to stop the young man, but he was determined to help her. She then took to Facebook to inform his parents how they molded him into a great man.
“I just want his parents to know how KIND & COMPASSIONATE your son was tonight! He made this stressed out momma pause for a moment and realize this is exactly what we parents are trying to do, raise great humans. Well, Wyatt sir, you are an amazing human,” she added.
Gift for Wyatt
As an act of gratitude, Brittany and her husband created a GoFundMe campaign for the young man. After learning that Wyatt was saving up to buy a car, they wanted to help him. As of today, they were now able to gather over $34,600 for the kind teenager.
