Matt Redman released his contemporary worship music and its official acoustic video entitled “Jesus Your Name,” and it’s powerful!
The worship leader premiered his latest Christian song on October 30. Matt Redman, Jacob Sooter, Josh Sooter, Josh Silverberg, and Lindsey Sweat wrote the worship song. Its lyrics tell of Jesus being the “Prince of Peace,” “The Lord of all,” and “Everything” in a person.
Jesus Your Name Lyrics
The first lyric goes:
“O Your name is my first defense
And O Your name is my last amen
It carries me when I cannot stand
It reaches me when I reach the end”
Then the chorus praises Him, singing:
“Jesus Your name, when the whole world shakes
Jesus Your name, I will ever praise
My battle cry every night and day
I’ll sing Your name over everything
I’ll sing Your name over everything”
The second verse goes:
“Oh, Your name, is my greatest strength
It fights for me and it won’t relent
I cast my cares, every burden fall

And finally, the bridge speaks of the Person of Jesus:
“In every storm, You’re the Prince of Peace
The Lord of all, You are Heaven’s King

‘Jesus Your Name’ was recorded at the Free Chapel in Orange County, California, according to Faithpot. More than 1000 people joined the acoustic worship session as they played the music onstage.
The acoustic worship video blessed thousands and compelled viewers to worship as well.
