A man diagnosed with terminal cancer sank into deep despair until he heard God speak to him. He believed God by faith and later on witnessed the astounding miracle!
Diagnosed With Terminal Cancer
At 68 years old, doctors found a large tumor on Gregory’s left kidney. Doctors said it was cancerous. Hence, they advised him to go through surgery to remove the tumor along with his kidney. But despite what science says, Gregory believed in God for a miracle.

“I began praying, believing God will take away the cancer. Believing that the day when I’ll go for the surgery, God will take away the tumor. And I will be okay. I was praying about a healing,” he recalled.
However, before his surgery, the CT scan revealed that cancer had spread to his lungs. That’s when he went into despair, feeling horrible and devastated. Then amidst his grief, he heard the Lord in a crystal clear voice telling him, “I know about it.” Then peace overcame him.

A few weeks later, the test showed that the nodules on his lungs grew both size and number increasingly. Thus, doctors advised him for chemo. Right then, he knew the treatment would only buy him time to live, not cure his illness.
Hearing God’s Voice
Gregory went home with tears flowing on his face. And while driving his car, he heard God speak to him again. He told him, “Cast it out. Cast out the spirit of grief and hopelessness.”
So, as he drove, he turned his head and cast out the spirit. “I said, ‘In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I’m casting you out of me!’” Gregory recalled. Then again, peace came upon him.
Upon reaching home, he testified to his wife, Athena. He encouraged her, “I’m going to be okay, Athena. Don’t worry about it.”
Miracle
The couple decided to forgo the treatment for the tumor despite the consequences. Although doctors kept saying it won’t be going well, they believed differently and trusted God. Both turned to prayer and God’s word for healing.
“I assembled 70 verses of talking about hope, life, deliverance, and peace. Every chance I had, I spoke the Word of God,” Gregory stressed.
Meanwhile, Athena also had prayer warriors joining with her in praying for her husband’s miracle healing.
That’s when a miracle really then began to happen.
Two months later, Gregory went back for a blood test. And amazingly, he found out that the tumor shrunk too small to be measured. He yelled so loud in the doctor’s office, unmindful that everyone would hear him. She shouted, “Lord! Thank You! I know You healed me!”
It was an answered prayer, a miracle they knew only God could do.
